Mona, the front desk receptionist, was exceptional and definitely deserves a higher position due to her professionalism. She was very efficient, and the check-in process was smooth. Her supervisor, Nick, was also very accommodating. It was a great stay for both kids and family. The lady handling breakfast was also very professional and friendly. One thing we admired was that she kept a smile on her face the entire time we were in the breakfast room. No matter who asked for help, she was always friendly. I apologize for not asking her name. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and I would rate it 10 out of 10. The pool hours were convenient, and breakfast was included with our stay. We had a special needs adult with us, and both Nick and Mona were very accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed here while visiting the Culinary Institute of America which is just s few miles up the road. Our stay was excellent. The front desk staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the space had adequate seating. If you are visiting any of the Hudson River attractions this would be a good choice.

I loved everything about this hotel except the fragrances. I have severe allergies and the fragrances in the lobby and guest room made my stay very uncomfortable. Except for that I would have given it 5 stars. The hotel looks like a new property. The rooms are nicely appointed and the entire hotel is spotless. I loved the breakfast that was served in the morning and the front desk staff were very friendly and professional. Also, bring your bathing suit. They have a lovely pool.

On the plus side, this hotel is very clean, the front desk staff are professional, friendly, and patient, and the food service staff in the breakfast area do a good job. The bed was comfortable. However, we reserved a suite with a sofa bed and the only bedding provided was a torn comforter -- no pillows, no sheets or blankets. Thank goodness we had a sleeping bag for our 9 year old to use. The shower has a half partition instead of a full door and it needs to be wider because water shoots out all over the floor. We stayed 2 nights but did not receive housekeeping service, which we needed because there is only 1 small towel bar and no place to hang wet towels to dry. There is only 1 elevator, so the wait was often long. Hotel needs more luggage carts. We waited an hour in the lobby for a cart and never did get one because rude guests kept the carts instead of returning them promptly to the lobby. There is a significant amount of loud highway noise at night which kept waking us up.

Another great holiday inn property. In a fantastic spot near quite a bit. Walking distance to an awesome diner. Plenty of parking and right off the highway. Lobby is modern and looking crisp. Breakfast options were not the best, eggs and sausage left out a bit too long on the cooker and very crispy and not edible. Walls in rooms are very thin and you can hear basic conversations and TV in other rooms.

Reading these other recent reviews scared me but honestly this place is great. It's clean, renovated and staff are awesome. Beds are comfy. Our sink needed repair and the host came up and did it himself! The hotel is near to everything you'd need. I am a Hampton Inn fan but this hotel may make me a Holiday Inn convert. Stay on the mountainside of the hotel as I hear the other side can be loud.

Nick at the reception was extremely friendly. That’s the positive on this stay.|Room was ok, shower very good but the air conditioning was extremely loud. As it was very hot during our stay we had to put it on unfortunately.|Breakfast is a catastrophe! We stayed in a little of Holiday Inn express and that was the worst. 2 fridges with only 2 milk thermos and some cream cheese. That’s it. No yogourt, no eggs. No cinnamon rolls, no fruits. Furniture dirty. Well not a pleasant room at all

This hotel was very accommodating and the staff was extremely friendly. We enjoyed socializing in the lobby and breakfast area. ||We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights stay and will definitely return again. This location was close to restaurants and shopping areas. ||Again, kudos to the staff!
