Holiday Inn Express Eunice, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Eunice - 1698 US-190, USA

Positive: The young lady who checked us in was very polite and was dealing with a rough situation. Negative: Yes. No rooms were ready at check in and some families had been waiting for hours. They closed the pool due to a hole in the ceiling. The carpets were very gross. Room was not cleaned our entire stay. (5 days) We were not even offered clean towels.

Holiday Inn Express Nationwide used to have a great reputation. Seeing all the reviews I would NEVER stay at thos one. Better up your game and spend money on repairs, remove loitering outside and clean the property up!!

The hotel has become extremely run down in recent years. It looks as if cleanliness is not a priority! Room doors have extreme gaps. Fire doors have no wear mechanism. In general it looks as if the sprinklers in the room have been deactivated as they have been covered / made unrecognizable. Side entrance door was broken for weeks so that anyone could have access to the hotel. On weekends it can get extremely loud in the hotel. It was not possible for me in 3 weeks stay to change the room, right next to the elevator and ice machine to another room (quieter) !!!! Room cards had to be reactivated almost every day to get access to the room. Very often you had the feeling with some employees at the reception that they felt harassed when you wanted something and some of them had no idea how to use the computer.

Positive: This hotel exceeded my expectations. For a small town, it was really clean, comfortable, and the staff was courteous and friendly. They did a great job, providing A1 customer service. Negative: "" Negative: ""

I stay at this hotel regularly and have continually had problems. This is the 2nd time I have found a used syringe in my room. Also, the milk is sour in the fridge at the breakfast everytime.

Positive: "" Negative: The shower had mold in it and the room smelled horrible I asked for another room and it was just as bad . And the elevator didn?t work. Rust all over the door frames in room and the security lock was broke off

We stayed 5 days for Mardi Gras 2024. Cleanliness was fine. Whoever works the desk is always in an office area with a camera to show when someone comes to desk. It’d be nicer if someone was at the desk during the day and early evening. Our mirror in the bathroom didn’t work. We only had overhead light making it very dim. I had to put on makeup in room next to window. The room doors didn’t lock tightly. We were paying approximately $200 a night because of timeframe. The first morning breakfast was fine except pancake machine torn up. No one worked the dining area on Sunday except the person working desk. Sunday through Tuesday breakfast was very limited. For instance, no biscuits and very little meat and eggs. No yogurt and very little milk. No coffee on one day except for left over from day before. When you’re booked I would have thought they would have made sure they had enough food and employees.

A hotel where the elevator does not work, the television is a mess and the TV menu incomprehensible, if it works at all, no room cleaning even on the second day of the stay, poor lighting, loud AC, and slow wireless. Maintenance throughout the hotel is lacking. This is a hotel clearly milking what remains of a shabby hotel by ripping off guests. Stay far away from this place.
