Holiday Inn Express Cañon City - Hotel in Cañon City - 3271 US-50, USA

Everything in the room was clean and in working order. I appreciated the indirect light over the closet area that could be used as a night light. Having two king sized beds in the room instead of two queens was really nice- and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and at the perfect temperatures. It was nice to have a fridge and a microwave. The fridge did not have a freezer compartment, though. It is clear that a lot of consideration was put into the design so although the rooms look pretty typical, when you use the room you notice the little extras.

After visiting Holiday Inn Express properties all over the United States, I am most comfortable in saying that this is one of the best stay I have had at HIE since 1998, when I started traveling for work. We stayed here for two nights in July to visit the Royal Gorge, and to take in the local scenery. The stay at the hotel was excellent, from the personable service at check in, to the tastefully decorated and comfortable room, the lovely custom pool and the delicious breakfast. I learned from the site manager that the owner of the hotel designed the pool himself, and added unique touches to the property, such as double king beds, instead of queen beds, and barn doors on rollers to separate the bathroom and entry area from the sleeping rooms. If Holiday Inn express needs a place to train future franchise owners, this is a great case study. Can not say more about the personal service and professionalism.

Everything about this hotel was perfect: The staff were excellent, from the helpful gentleman who checked us in, to the kind gentleman who ran the breakfast area, to the woman who checked us out. The whole place appears very new. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The ac unit was totally quiet -not noisy like many hotel rooms. The swimming pool was perfect and a very interesting design. We would definitely recommend ! 5 Stars !

One of the nicest Holiday Inn's I have ever stayed at. We stayed one night. The beds were so comfy and the room was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub. The pool area was well kept. We ate at the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed the options you served. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I can't wait to come back!

I stayed with my family on a trip to see the Royal Gorge and Bishop’s Castle. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were super comfortable. Indoor pool was fun for the kids - and the free breakfast was awesome. I left behind AirPods and the manager, Anis, was kind enough to hold onto them and mail them back to me. So grateful for the honesty of all the staff (and the helpfulness!). Great service all around. Will definitely stay again.

A perfect room for a family of 5! We were pleasantly surprised to find a TWO king suite with a pull out coach. The room was huge and provided wonderful sleep for us all! The free breakfast was nice and well maintained. The check-in clerk was so helpful with ideas for things to do!

This hotel is exceptionally clean! It looked brand new! Room was very spacious and nicely decorated. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a large assortment of hot and cold items. Hotel is a nice drive to Royal Gorge Bridge. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Overall stay was nice for a family of 4! We utilized amenities such as the pool and continental breakfast. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Friendly staff! Beds were comfortable, room was clean and spacious! Nice, updated room as well. Would recommend!
