Holiday Inn Express Bloomsburg, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Bloomsburg - 14 Mitchell Dr, USA

We were on a cross-country trip and booked this hotel very last minute. Staff was amazing, breakfast was pretty good, beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very clean with the exception of some hairs in the tub and the corners being in need of a scrub. The beds and surfaces seemed very clean also. The floor appeared not have been vacuumed and there seemed to be some mold or dust across the back of the room, next to the ceiling, but were only minor blips in the course of a great stay!

This is a great hotel. It is clean, well maintained and has friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of big fluffy pillows and a decent mattress. The pool could be warmer but I am kind of a pansy about cold water. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Such a great place to stay! Hotel is very clean, and so are the rooms. Rooms are fully stocked with Dove products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. Continental breakfast had numerous items that were replenished frequently by kitchen staff. Eating area was immaculate and continuously monitored, tables were wiped clean when people were done and coffee/tea bar was well stocked. Pool area and bathroom were very clean. Beds were comfy and our room received cleaning service each day. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

I was pretty happy at first. Then my 2 year old son found two pieces of a hypodermic needle. This was so scary I went through the entire room top to bottom for almost an hour and found yet another piece. It was in a place you’d think cleaning would have found it. Some not so serious complaints: The pool was cold and they said they served breakfast until 9 but the hotel was packed and they stopped cooking closer to 8. We were left with cereal. I could have gotten past everything but the needle because staff was friendly even bringing me pillows I needed. But, they didn’t seem surprised when confronting them about the needle. They didn’t offer a discount or extra rewards or anything. I won’t worry about staying with IHG hotel again. I didn’t feel like anyone took my huge concerns seriously.

Positive: Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Pool was the perfect size. If you are visiting Knoebels and aren't the camping/cabin type, this hotel is perfect for you. Negative: The second day power went out due to a storm, which was obviously of no responsibility of the hotel or staff. The staff allowed us to cancel our second night without argument (no power with a child is NOT fun).

Stayed 1 night with my 9 year old. Great location, close to family restaurants. The room was modern and updated. Very pleased for the price. The room smelled clean, not musty like other hotels. Compfy beds and pillows. Large bathroom with Dove pump soap instead of tiny bars which I appreciated and shower products. My favorite thing was a nightlight in the bathroom! In my years of traveling I've always had to leave on a big light, but there was a convenient eye friendly night light which is genius! Complimentary Breakfast had alot of choices! Way more than I expected. Employee constantly checking on food, stocking and cleaning. Only downside was hearing people above us on the 3rd floor walking and showering, but no more than other hotels and it was not at absurd hours. Would definitely stay again if we come out this way!

It was an updated hotel. Relatively clean. Could be better (small dust bunnies in some corners). Overall surfaces were clean though. Nice location- very close to restaurants catering to families and walmart (etc). About 20-25 min from knoebels. Nice size pool that didnt reek of chlorine. Would definitely go back.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was very nice. We stayed for 2 nights. Staff was very friendly. Rooms overall were very clean. Slight mildew smell in the bathroom but I think they just need a ventilation fan and that would help. But it was not overpowering or dirty by any means. Our door did stick a bit but I did tell staff and they said someone will look into it. Location is OK...local restaurants are handy...Perkins, Ruby Tuesdays, Cracker Barrel, Starbucks, Wendys, KFC, Burger King...all very close. Also get a discount at Perkins. Entrance is a little hard to find at night but not bad. Just have to follow your GPS. Close to main road but not too close...enough that you can find it but not enough that there is any traffic noise. We could hear the family next door to us pretty well...toddler and parents....but it didnt bother us much. I would recommend this hotel!
