Holiday Inn Express Birch Run (Frankenmuth Area), an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Birch Run - 12150 Dixie Hwy, USA

We went to the Holiday Inn to enjoy a one day vacation. The plan was to enjoy a nice evening swimming in the pool and chilling out in the hot tub. The pool itself was great , the water was clean and warm. The hot tub, which was one of the main reasons I came down to this Holiday Inn, look like they had been washing tires in it for weeks. If you're going to this Holiday Inn to enjoy the hot tub you might want to call ahead and ask what condition it's in. I was extremely disappointed. We were afraid to get in it.

Wow-went on a getaway with my husband for our 35th Anniversary and was surprised when we arrived, a car show was going on as well and the hotel stay was awesome. Staff were very helpful and friendly at check in, during the stay and at check out. Everyone acknowledges you and were super friendly and informative. Food at l breakfast was so good and plentiful. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable and shower pressure was top notch. Thanks for a wonderful getaway weekend!

Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and polite. Nicole, in particular, made our stay very enjoyable. We had a large group and she was very accommodating and kind to the adults as well as the children. She represents your hotel very well.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are constantly clean with comfortable beds. It is located near Frankenmuth which is a wonderful tourist town. Bronner Christmas store is a must see.

The staff were all very nice. The hotel is falling apart. The pool and hot tub needs a scrubbing and the paint on the floor around the pool was literally flaking off and being tracked everywhere. The tile floor in the hallway and our bathroom was loose and crumbling. Even the carpeted hallway floor felt uneven. The room wasn't very clean. The bathroom was moldy and the bathroom door had pieces missing. I wanted to do laundry, but the washers were dirty and moldy. The breakfast wasn't very good, but edible. I could go on and on. I would not stay here again.

We decided to stay here based on m the reviews. Was a disappointment due to inside the shower was mold and from our room on the 1st floor to the lobby the floor tiles were loose. The walls in our room looked terrible. Was lower quality than expected. Front desk was great.

Hotel is clean. We used the pool and hot tub 2 nights. Both were clean. Room was clean. Front desk staff were both pleasant and got us what we needed. Breakfast options was plentiful to choose from. Will definitely stay when back in the area.

It is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The rooms were clean and useful.they communicated the availability of the maid service. They do come on request but won't clean surfaces covered by your items. I recommend a $5 tip per person left on the bed.
