Can't go wrong with Holiday Express for cleanliness. This Hotel was near the Bay. The Bay was very pungent and smell leaked into the Hotel vents. The owner has deodorizer in the halls and had a lit candle going at the registration desk to mask the Bay smell. The smell reminded us of a cross between wet garbage and seaweed. The Hotel clerk in the evening we came in was rude and not helpful. The carpets in our room were wet from being shampooed and gave us a hard time switching to another room. The updated room was clean and beds comfortable. Heating/air worked fine. The other customers were quiet. Shower/bath water pressure was good. Due to this location being right on the Bay and the odors coming into the Hotel, I would not recommend this location.

Not sure how this place was rate in the 4’s. Lobby was always dirty. Went to breakfast area first thing to grab a banana and tables were filthy!! Elevator floors nasty. Upon arrival in the room, found a used razor sitting on the soap/shampoo area. Zero toilet paper. Towels for 2 people when reservation was for four. Ironing board looked like there was ketchup on it. Iron sucked and hardly worked. Room was extremely little. Couldn’t open bathroom door fully, because it hit the bed. Like NYC or Europe little. Claustrophobic actually. Took 10 minutes for anyone to check me in. I hate going to the AC area because every hotel is nasty. Nasty. I think the people who leave good reviews are still vacation drunk or won money at the casino and extremely elated. Scary motels next to and across the street from this hotel as well. Not a fan would definitely not return. FYI: and this is probably the worst!!! Water heater is WAY OVER the legal temperature limit. Like this will literally give someone second degree burns. At least in room 427. Sink and tub faucet water temperatures are EXTREMELY HIGH!!!

we stayed here when we were in town for a concert. we have no complaints at all. everyone was very kind and helpful. having breakfast provided is a nice amenity while traveling. it's nice to have coffee and fresh fruit available while other food for the kids. there was always plenty of parking for us, even when we returned very late at night. the rooms are nice and clean, but are a bit small when you have a family. the beach bay area in the back is a nice bonus. you can rent equipment for wind sailing. I'm not sure that the beach is cleaned often. wear shoes since we found broken glass. the kids did play around in the sand for a bit and swam in the water. they liked it better than the beach since there aren't huge waves or currents. definitely go check out the sunset . great place to view it. there are a few stray cats living in back by the garbage cans, but they look healthy.

A hidden gem. We booked 4 persons, overnight and we were pleasantly surprised. Helpful front desk staff (Joe) who although was in training was very positive, kind and hardworking. The room was very neat, cozy and we were amazed how well they did the basics of supplying hand soap, conditioner, shampoo, body was etc. The breakfast was the biggest surprise as compared to larger hotels, had a wide variety of choice. The biscuits, gravy, sausage and the pancakes were a delightful touch. We also had access to the enormous late behind the hotel which was relaxing and peaceful. Overall, very very impressed by this inn. Would definitely recommend and if we’re ever in Atlantic City, would definitely go back.

After leaving a unsafe/bad vibes hotel down the street we made a reservation here last minute, like within 15 minutes we were pulling in. Could not ask for a better, affordable hotel in the AC area. Lobby was organized, we got checked in right away. Room was clean, shower had good tempature and pressure - beds were comfy! About 15 minutes from the Boardwalk. Just a good Holiday Inn! Would stay again!

Great Hotel with excellent service! Our checkin was such a great experience as we were greeted by the Front Desk Manager Andrew. This hotel is right on the water and our 1 Bedroom Bay View Room was spacious and clean with extremely comfortable beds for a great nights sleep! Breakfast had everything you need for a healthy well rounded meal. Fruit, Juices, Coffee & Tea, Scrambled Eggs and Omelettes, Pancake maker, oatmeal, cold cereal, muffins, bagels and toast, cinnamon rolls and for all the meat eaters they had sausage links and patties. This is a great IHG Hotel and only about 15min drive to Atlantic City

My boyfriend I had a wonderful stay at this hotel this past Saturday.(Mother's day weekend) check-in process was seamless, and the lady who assisted us (MAY) was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived until the day we departed. She even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade that offered a stunning view of the beach area. Speaking of the room, it was not only spacious but also impeccably clean. As someone who is very particular about cleanliness in hotels, I always conduct a thorough inspection. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was already spotless, and I didn't even need to use my own cleaning supplies. The room was well-stocked with towels, dove lotion, hand soap, and body wash, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the bolt on the door that added an extra layer of security, ensuring that no one could enter from the outside. The hotel had ample parking space, and the private beach at the back of the property was a true gem. With gazebos dotting the shoreline, it provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. We encountered no issues during our stay, and it was a pleasant surprise to discover that the nearby casinos were just a short 10-minute drive away. We also noticed that the larger, more expensive hotels in the area had received negative reviews, making us even more confident that we had made the right choice. Oh, and did I mention that breakfast was included and completely free? It was the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Wonderful hidden gem near Atlantic City! Hotel was quiet, CLEAN, and everyone was so nice and helpful!! There is an amazing bay beach in the back that is just an added bonus. Thanks for a great stay! Hope to come back soon.
