Holiday Inn Express & Suites Zion, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Zion - 1100 33rd St, USA

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and breakfast was decent. The staff is friendly but the problem comes in with management! First I reserved and paid for my room in advance and asked if there was any hidden fees or costs and I was told no. Upon arrival they asked for $150. I let them know I didn't have but would in the a.m as we checked in late night. By 6a.m she was calling my room wanting me to come and take care of it.... My child was still asleep and I will not leave her unattended as young as she is. Like, I'm not going anywhere and can't slip out the room was paid for in full for our stay. Moving forward, my child got sick at 2a.m the following night, all over the bed pillows and myself. I clean it up and requested new linens I have no issues with the staff but again here comes management in the morning again following me outside and asked what happened and why with an attitude. I explained my child got sick. So we proceed to have a discussion about it so she tells me, I'll be charged for the linens because they are VERY EXPENSIVE so I agreed to pay however the issue comes in because I make it a point to say yes, you can charge my card but I want to see the linen first and if also like to take it home since it's not able to be used again. Now it's a problem because I want what I'm being charged for. We have stayed at this hotel before, many times, when it was the Country Inn and suites but I will not be returning again. I'll spend my money elsewhere and from what I understand so will other guests that were complaining during breakfast times as well.

After a long drive from Ontario Canada, to Zion to take my son home, this hotel was exactly what I needed. Clean lobby upon entering, the man at the desk was polite and accommodating. It was very quiet throughout. The room was clean and pretty much what I’d expect. Breakfast was satisfying mini buffet style. Coffee was good, and it is available whenever you want it. Reading the bad reviews I feel like it’s not the same place those reviewers were complaining about. I have no reason to not go here again.

We stayed here with a lot of family and friends who were in town for a wedding in Kenosha. This hotel was perfect for us! The staff was very friendly, the hotel was sparkling clean, and we enjoyed the large rooms. The location was great - just a five minute drive to the beach and close to everything that we needed. Thank you for accommodating our large group and letting us celebrate together!

This place was so nice! It looked like new everything. The staff is excellent! Everyone was very kind, polite, accommodating and hospitable. Free breakfast was good. Rooms were very clean, very quiet and extremely comfortable! Had a mini fridge and microwave. Convenient to restaurants & groceries.

I stayed two nights at this hotel and enjoyed my stay very much! Usually I don’t stay at hotels much but the service at this one was amazing! Would go again! Plus it’s very clean affordable!

This has been the worst holiday in stay ever. Breakfast was a disaster, had some expired creamer that was so watery and the manager even took a picture. You would think they would go get a new one. Nope. That’s not even the worst part, the whole floor of the room flooded in the middle of the night by the refrigerator and I ended up slipping down, nothing major which I am thankful for. I emailed them and they never emailed back.

Stayed here during my son's Navy Boot Camp graduation Feb 22, 2024. It was an easy 25 min drive to the base. If I ever need to stay in the Great Lakes area again, I will definitely stay here! SCAMMERS!!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO STEAL MONEY FROM YOU! I went here for 1 night and I was charged over 1k for "damages". There was an issue in the bathtub where the water would not turn off. I went to the front desk immediately and let them know that it would not turn off. I checked out of the room and it still was not fixed. The receptionist apologized for the inconvenience and I was charged the normal rate for the room. When I get home I get a notification from my bank that over 1k in charges was made from these SCAMMERS! I go back up there immediately and ask them why they're charging me for something that was not my fault!! The bathtub was NOT broken it just would not turn off. The Manager was rude going to tell me that she has to charge me for 2 additional nights since they will not be able to rent the room all weekend because there is no plumber available on the weekend. That is not my fault so why am I being charged??? I get more attitude & told there is nothing they can do and I have to wait until Monday until the plumber can come and assess the issue and determine if it was my fault or not. You can not take money from people without their consent that is FRAUD!!! THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT IT COST OVER 1K TO FIX A TUB KNOB THAT WONT TURN OFF!!!!
