Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williams, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Williams - 1150 Cataract Lake Rd, USA

Although a bit more pricey than other options in Williams I think it was well worth it. Nice newer facility that is clean and well maintained. Large rooms. Good hot breakfast that was well stocked. Pool was warm and hot tub was hot. Staff allowed me to use the pool beyond normal hours so I could get my exercise in without kids present. Really friendly. Much appreciated.

Adequate place to stay for our needs. I joked with the front desk staff I would use some of my points to get them new luggage carts. The ones there are very rickety and no bag hooks on them. We have stayed here previously because of family in the area. The hotel is showing some wear and need some touch ups in certain areas. Pool and hot tub were good temperatures. Front desk staff were very good and efficient. Breakfast pretty standard for all Holiday Inn express locations.

My family and I stayed for 1 night and it was really a nice place. They staff at registration were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. We happened to wake up to a snowstorm the next morning and they even had snowscrapers and shovels available for guests to use! I would definitely stay here again. Next time we will bring our bathing suits since we found they have an indoor pool!

My one-star rating is solely based on room and condition of hotel. I am an IHG Gold Rewards Member and this is one of the worst Holiday Inn Express Hotels I have ever stayed in. I'm not going to pin-point everything but the room felt like it was 20+ years old without ever being renovated. Rugs, flooring, chairs, furniture, bathroom all were needing replacement and cleaning! I am seriously considering becoming a member at another branded hotel chain. On a brighter note, front desk clerk was very nice and location in Williams, AZ was within walking distance to Main Street.

Update: I was contacted by the general manager who was able to work with me towards an agreement. I am pleased that she reached out and took her time to ensure my needs were being heard and met. I appreciate her time and support with coming with a solution. I accidently made a reservation at the wrong Holiday Inn Express. I was trying to book a room quickly because of the weather (snowing). I arrived at the wrong hotel and realized my mistake. They would not work with me in canceling because it was not within 24 hours despite making the booking approximately 30 minutes before. I had to book the room at the Holiday Inn that I arrived so have an extra room that is not being used. No compassion what so ever. Just take your money despite value of "True Hospitality".

If you're just looking for a room to sleep in you might want to keep going. Rooms are spacious The bed I think is formed out of a square of concrete. Literally the floor with the commercial carpet would have been more comfortable. And I'm not a bed snob. The hotel is starting to look like it's been not well maintained. Mold is forming in the shower, furniture starting to appear shabby with scratches and wood. The armoire rocks as you walk by and it also does it in the room next to us so we keep hearing a thud fud tapping against the wall. Very disappointing as I usually enjoy my stays at the Holiday inn

Liz at the front desk was wonderful. We booked for one night and decided to stay so we could take the train to the Grand Canyon the following morning. The room we reserved was booked by someone else for the following night but Liz was able to get us in another room on the same floor just a few doors down for our second evening. The gentleman at the front desk that evening was extremely accommodating gave us such good advice so we could have a special dinner. The next morning when I went down to check out of the first room and get into the second room a new face was at the desk. He was just as pleasant as the others and was ready for us to move. The communication between staff members in that establishment was wonderful and made our staff memorable. Thank you and please rcognize them for their above and beyond service.

Positive: My favorite thing about our stay was the gentlemen that restocked the breakfast food and cleaned up the tables. He greeted us every morning and was VERY nice. He was friendly, warm, engaging and such a good worker. We were very impressed with him. Negative: Everything was great.
