Holiday Inn Express & Suites Weslaco, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Weslaco - 421 S International Blvd, USA

The rooms were comfortable considering the location. They did serve up a nice full breakfast. They also had two computers and a fitness room. There are plenty of US known fast food locations plus restaurants in close proximity. It was not far from the border.

I think the room rates are reasonable. I love that they have a pool, small gym, free breakfast and it's in a good location. I like that there's dove brand toiletries. I love coming in the afternoon and they have warm chocolate chip cookies. The only things I would ask is for the microwave to be replaced because it's rusted inside . I also wish that they would clean the debris in the pool. It wasn't a lot but I think it would change from good to excellent. All in all , I really like it here.

Excellent hotel near Mercedes' Outlet. The hotel has a good breakfast and clean installations such as room and bathroom. No doubt I'll stay there next time with my family. It located near some restaurants and other ammenities. It would be nice if they increase one hour the breakfast time.

Good value overall. I appreciated the friendly service from the employees, good wifi, and the complementary breakfast. I’m also grateful I was allowed to remove one night from my reservation without penalties. Parking is ample but can be tricky to know on which entrance of the highway to turn since the Burger King is next to it and they don’t connect parking lots. Room was good, would like better cleaning; I had a towel replaced that was stained. They accept major forms of payment as part of IHG.

This rating is for management & customer service. When we checked out of our room we realized a item was left in the room. After a 2nd follow up with the hotel the item was located. I asked the staff at the hotel to ship the item to me since we had reached out to the hotel before leaving Weslaco. Linda tried to be as helpful but Ruben V was not professional at all. He made an unnecessary statement regarding losing money. He stated he was corporate level & no one else could assist me with my issue. His unprofessionalism showed when he 1st took the call as I heard him state "10-4". Don't accidentally leave an item behind because Ruben will not want to hear excuses or make exceptions.

Too many ants. Regardless of room. Try to get a room on the higher floors as they seem less susceptible to them. As well found a big ol bug on my pillow when flipping it one night. Staff was amazing and did their best to help, but the ants wouldn’t stop coming. Swarmed any piece of food left out. As well, ironing equipment was awful. The board was stained, and the iron itself barely worked, leaked water, and when in use, left a calcium residue all over clothing. I left feedback for management, but all I got back was an automated reply. Not even a peep that they would work on fixing it for other future guests, as I will not be coming back to this location. Pool was nice.

I checked in online. When i arrived i signed in and was given my key to the room. The kids enjoyed the pool for a couple of hours. We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful night. The breakfast offered is 10 out of 10 many options and food is always hot. I liked that the employees are on top of everything making sure nothing goes low. The check out is just as easy as the check in. I was very impressed with the service at this location and we will be returning in a few months.

I stay here very often. My last visit was the best I of all my stays. The place looks great and smells great. I enjoy checking in the day before online and being greeted very welcoming. The room and bed were great and I sleep like a baby. I will be back soon.
