Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vacaville, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Vacaville - 151 Lawrence Dr, USA

First time at this location. I've tried some of the other local hotels since im typically a creature of habit but I thought I'd be adventurous on this trip to Vacaville. Location is very good since it's close to downtown. Upon arrival, pla e was clean a d passed the optics test. The lady working up front was nice and helpful. Got .y room pretty quickly too. Rooms are spacious and we're very clean with Almost all amenities. Lots of good places to eat near by and outlets are there as well. I will return again.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed on the second floor and our room was nice and updated. Hotel felt quiet, safe, and clean. Location is walkable to a great Indian restaurant called Clay Oven. Cons: Can confirm that this hotel is undergoing construction. If certain amenities are important to you (eg. Fitness room) I recommend calling ahead to see if what you need is available. If I stayed here again I’d ask for a room located near the stairs as it was a bit of a pain to wait for the elevator each time we wanted to head downstairs. We were excited to go in the pool but the water was hazy so we opted out of it. Side note to the hotel: please add more hooks for towels in the bathrooms - especially one for a hand towel near the sink!

Arrived later than usual and was greeted by a very unkind attendant. But after checking in I met Akeem who was very respectful and understanding of my situation! Made the best out of my stay and provided proper clarification on rules and standards! I appreciate his help at staying in the holiday inn!

I enjoyed my stay. Clean and updated rooms, still renovations going on down stairs. Full hot breakfast was nice. Only issue was the lack of parking. I'd stay here again

Positive: "" Negative: The only issue I had was my key card never worked. I was a guest for 4 days and each day I had to go down to the lobby to get a new card. That was a slight inconvenience for me, but everything else was just perfect.

All staff exceeded our expectations! Rooms were clean and very updated. The pool was very nice and clean as well! Staff accommodated all of our needs and went the extra mile for us. Thank you for making our stay great!

Nothing special, the stay was fine, and fairly clean. Although the shower was not clean at all. I should have taken a photo, but unfortunately did not. There was dirt all on the shower floor and walls, and the soap containers were nasty. Keep your shoes on for the shower!

Positive: When I discovered I left my phone charger at home, and was down to 21 %, the front desk clerk saved me by loaning me a cord compatible to my device. A sigh of relief and a a thank you was well deserved. The breakfast buffet was very good, and fresh. Negative: My only "slight" complaint was the bathroom door which wouldn't stay open due to the proximity to the front door. Just a awkward design flaw. Negative: ""
