This is a great hotel - we’ve stayed here a few times with our teenage daughter. The breakfast has a lot of offerings. The pool is clean and nice. With sensitive skin, I appreciate all the Dove brand amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and hand wash). We regularly book this hotel when we travel through the area. The only downside is nearby restaurants are somewhat limited, plan ahead and pick something up on the way. It’s still a short drive though to nearby restaurants if you go out after checking in. Highly recommend this hotel.

We’ve stayed here multiple times on our drive to Pittsburgh to take our son to college. When we first stumbled upon this area, we felt so lucky. The people at the hotel were friendly, breakfast was good, the shopping center was nice |, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. ||We have seen a change in the past year. We are not greeted the same (it depends on who is at the front desk) and I’m rarely asked how our stay was. Housekeeping is lacking (there was a huge clump of hair in our shower) and the lights and charging stations at the desk didn’t work. It was disappointing since this had been such a favorite place to stay.

On the way home from a business meeting, I stopped here to rest on the way home. ||Check-in was nice. The team member was very enthusiastic and energetic. ||My room was pretty standard and spacious. ||Unfortunately, it appears that housekeeping was lacking. The bulb in the lamp over the couch was not working. The desk top was not clean. The shower corners were also not clean.||I understand that in the summer, there are a lot of travel sports teams. Hotel management needs to notify such attendees that they don't own or run the hotel. This is a public space where people of all activities interact. There are rules like quiet hours. Rules are there to be adhered to. These are not optional. Hotel team members and hotel management need to enforce these rules or simply remove them.

For reference, I travel to Toledo every week and try to stay in different hotels. Came here just for the review. Average hotel. No major complaints. It was clean and the staff member at the desk was as friendly and knowledgeable as anywhere I've been. Building looks nice from outside and nice on inside. Located in a nice neighborhood surround by houses mostly. Seems to be a small suburban area. Not a lot of restaurants nearby. I drove to nearby Maumee to the Village Idiot for pizza and a drink. Shirt drive, so not a problem at all. Room was a normal Holiday Inn style room. Nice little Fridge/freezer combo. Nice size bathroom and shower. Spacious living area with desk. Bed and pillows were perfect. Air conditioning was colder than almost any hotel I've been in. For the first time I actually had to turn temp up in summer. My only suggestion for the room is that they need to work on maintaining the rooms and cleaning the crevices a little better. Shower needs caulk and a scrubbing around bottom of doors. Flooring/wall trim had a spot that needed pulled out. Not a big deal at all.. Pool was small. I didn't swim so I can't speak to the temperature. Would be nice if there was a hot tub. They're getting harder to find and that's typically how I choose my hotel. Nice patio out back to enjoy the weather. Breakfast was normal Holiday Inn breakfast with the addition of those little fried potatoe cubes, delicious. Not to mention the legendary cinnamon rolls. All things considered, I would not hesitate to stay here with my family. This hotel gets my nod of approval. Safe travels friends.

Very nice Holiday Inn outside of Toledo. Chose this location as it was close to Rutherford B Hays Presidential museum & home, only 30 min. away. Easy on & off interstate. Room very clean & same for bathroom. Excellent night's sleep. Great onsite restaurant.

Beyond excellent location. This staff is the bees knees when scoring their performance. Aaron is one of my favorite smiling faces when we visit the area!! The rest of the staff rocks just as much. The hotel is always clean. The breakfast (and the employees that keep it amazing) is way better than the typical breakfast served at hotels. Always fresh, and many options to have. The rooms are lovely, nicely decorated, spacious and welcoming. I would recommend for any length of stay♡♡♡

I am a Platinum IHG member and have stayed at many Holiday Inn locations. We recently stayed at this location for a soccer tournament, and unfortunately, our experience was terrible. Our room smelled like urine, and when I asked for a room change, the hotel could not accommodate us because they were sold out. I ended up cleaning the floor myself, which turned out to be very dirty (see attached picture). When I showed this to the staff and manager, they showed zero concern.||||I contacted corporate, and they offered me 16,000 points, which wouldn't even cover one night at this location (30,000 points). ||||Additionally, we had an item go missing from our room. The staff and manager offered no help or concern, claiming we signed a release at check-in. The very rude manager suggested we lost the item ourselves. We filed a police report, and a staff member was recorded entering the room (which was not cleaned), but they claimed they never saw the item. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Staff was very friendly and polite. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had a great variety of choices.
