This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The free breakfast had a lot of options and was kept stocked. The front desk staff were nice and accommodating. We didn’t use the pool area or the gym. There’s a neat restaurant a few hundred yards near the hotel. We just had drinks at the bar but it looks like a fun place. This hotel was a good price and close to many things.

The staff was over the top. Breakfast was awesome. I would have to say this is the best customer service we have had in a very long time. I appreciate each and every one of the staff members. Their hospitality was over 5 stars. Thank you for our stay in your wonderful hotel.

As an avid business traveler and having worked in hospitality management, I am quite picky on where I stay and this hotel was phenomenal. Upon arriving, I was greeted by one of the most friendly front desk agents I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve stayed in many hotels. Theodore was so friendly and helpful with providing necessary information and ensuring I felt welcome. He deserves a raise! When I left at 3am two days later, he was at the desk with a warm greeting and smiling face! He is one of the best assets to this hotel, and I would stay here again solely based on my interaction with him. Breakfast was standard for hotels and fully stocked. The only negative about the room(and this is definitely more on me than the hotel) is that the black out shade does not cover the sides of the window completely so the street light shined in my window all night. The room was clean and had ample space for me to work and relax in. The hotel was close to astalula(where I was working for 2 days) and an easy location to find. There are restaurants and convenience stores close by which is appreciated for someone who travels frequently. Lastly, the parking lot was lit very well and overall I felt safe as a solo traveler.

I stayed at this property April 11-14, 2024, room 217. Room was neat with micro/fridge. Parking was no problem. I remember Ethan from the front desk, pleasant guy. Breakfast was pretty standard continental. Overall, a positive stay. Funny, window blind had a remote control, and I initially had trouble but ended up using it with no problems.

We were in a pinch, as a lightening strike took out a major power hub near our house...3 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs did not want to #sweatitout while waiting for power to be restored. Thankfully, Holiday Inn Express in Tavares was able to accommodate our needs at an unexpected moment. The Customer Service was fabulous - night and morning shifts! The kids got to jump in the pool the next morning. Breakfast was fabulous. And our dogs enjoyed getting a #minivacation too! Taking care of #hometowners when the power goes out...Thank you Holiday Inn Express.

Positive: Our room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I appreciated the variety. Location was close to my cousin in Travares. Enjoyed the Hurricane right next door. I used the fitness room in the morning. That was a good experience. Negative: "" Negative: ""

Again, this property proved that Holiday Inn guest security is less valuable than profits. Another promiscuous lock bypassed by housekeeping at 10:30 wothout even a knock, yoohoo, or anything. Housekeeping continued to have a conversation with my door open while i was standing there naked. The front desk said there was nothing they could do because i booked on expedia.This tired excused from hotels is invalid because I don't advertise on expedia, they do. Anyway, if you need sevice there attempt to grab a fork from the buffet area, otherwise you'll have to wait for a childish phone conversation behind a wall to end before being denigrated by a greedy, money first, peep show, and possibly more, enabler. BEWARE Add in black nasty feet from walking in room and this property does not deserve a star. F-

I would have given a higher rating but the day front desk clerk had zero customer service skills. She was not friendly and I think we were bothering her. The night male clerk was absolutely amazing. Give him a raise and have him train her.
