Holiday Inn Express & Suites Suisun City, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Suisun City - 355 Civic Center Blvd, USA

This hotel was pleasant from the exterior and interior lobby. Austin (front desk) was excellent, as I wanted to check the room before officially checking in. He was professional in assisting me and was subsequently helpful. There were a few things that could have been improved: 1. The pool had murky water and was cloudy. The moisture from the pool area could be smelled throughout the hallways. 2. The gym, although adequate and spacious, had no towels, needed wipes, and because it was directly next to the pool, had a pungent odor (mildew). 3. The lobby floor leading to the elevators had a huge dirty streak (someone has spilled something) that was there from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. 4. The room door needs the hinge closer adjusted as the door is heavy and slams on you. Someone could get seriously hurt. Room 219 5. Bathroom light was extremely bright and harsh on the eyes. This all being said, the room as clean and quiet, we were facing the back of the building which was nice, and the breakfast was good. The lobby itself was beautiful and eloquent.

Just wrapped up a week long stay here. Great staff and hotel. No major issues. Vim was fantastic across the stay. Professional and personable. I think he exemplifies everything you want someone in a customer facing role to be. Only gripes here are the costs of the concessions at the desk which are 2-3x normal retail, and coin laundry. I can’t think of another recent hotel stay where laundry was still coin operated.

Our experience at this Inn was wonderful. The room was clean and the breakfast was good (especially when bacon was on the menu!). It had a nice pool and workout room with a beam scale. Coffee was good and ready every morning. Pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff. We would definitely plan another stay here!

First room was 78 degree and the thermostat read "err". Replacement room had no blanket or sheets on the pull out couch (originally had a 2 queen room and went to a one king with a sofa couch) tried to call the front desk to get blankets and the phone did not work. This place is going downhill quick. Will definitely stay elsewhere for future visits . Staff is decent and tries to help. Just not worth nearly 200 dollars to be inconvenienced all night. Also, sheets on the bed had skeptical stains......didn't smell off though, just pretty worn I guess. I wish they would re-invest profits into upkeep.

I normally stay next door. I have status with Hilton but when they are sold out I choose to stay here based on its location. Normally this hotel is new, the rooms are clean, spacious and have a great view. Staff is always very helpful and despite being busy they accommodate every request. In my room the coffee machine wasn’t cleaned or serviced before my arrival. There was a used coffee kureg in it. Other than that everything else was perfect.

The highlight for this hotel is the Breakfast and staff who constantly made sure all items were available and because of the rather large groups (a semi pro sports team, military groups, families, vacationers) this is saying a lot. The number of people did create additional noise and one should be aware as a newer facility it is not as sound proof as older Holiday Inn Express. However staff are accommodating and friendly. Parking is adequate and facilities clean (such as pool).

Worst holiday inn I've ever stayed at, only reason they got a 2 star is because the breakfast is good. Got harassed by front desk staff over my service dog after I was assured by management that wouldn't happen. The tv in my room doesn't work, the phone on my room doesn't work so I can't even call the front desk to ask them about why my tv isn't working. I won't be staying at this hotel again. On a side note, if you have a service dog I highly recommend staying here so you can sue them for violating your ADA rights.

What a great visit! Came with my family about 9 deep for an out of town family event. My brother in law forgot his belt and had asked the front desk for a string and Kapil let him barrow the belt he was actually wearing! Haha we were all so shocked and very appreciative for how giving Kapil was. We made sure to give it back, rooms were really clean. Everyone was great! Thank you all
