I can’t speak on pricing because we had a group rate for a convention. The service however was great. Everyone was kind and very helpful especially Marsha. The assistant manager, Gage was also very kind to my mother and they had a lengthy conversation together. The breakfast was soooo good! They ran out of gravy for the sausage and the lady told me to give her about 5 more minutes and she would have more and she did! My daughter loved that they had a wireless flat charger built into the table so her phone could charge while she ate. The room was very clean and fresh! We definitely come back for our next stay!
We have been frequent guests at this hotel over the past couple of years and each time it just gets worse and worse. We stayed here this past weekend to move my son to State and the AC did not work. Called front desk said they would send someone up. Waited 45 minutes, called again and Bailey doesn’t greet us, just tells us someone is on the way and hangs up. They change the batteries and walk out. We had no AC in August in Mississippi! Front desk would not assist. Please train your staff on customer service and fix your hotel.
I called to make a reservation for me, my husband, our 2 kids and our 6 lb pomeranian for a one night stay. The Indian man on the phone told me it would cost $150 + another $100 in "government and state fees" + a $50 fee for our pet. I asked him what fees those were, yet he wouldn't give me a direct answer. That's over $300!!! FOR ONE NIGHT!!! I called the La Quinta Hotel close by and made a reservation instead. The total was $216 with ALL taxes and fees (including the pet fee which was only $25). The lady who helped us place our reservation was also very kind and thorough informing us all fees. La Quinta is clearly the better choice and I'm glad we went with the hotel with the better reviews.
The room smelled bad, no coffee made yet at 6:45am on a week day, and breakfast was sparse. The card reader on our door stopped working and and we sat in the hallway for over an hour before they let us in our room. We checked in every 15 minutes and were told we had to wait on the maintenance guy to drive there from his home. Finally the girl at the front desk said, “Oh I do have a master key, maybe that will work.” It did work. She could have tried that an hour before. We won’t be back, even though we are Diamond members and stay for free with points. It’s worth it to pay for another hotel. This is my 3rd time at this hotel I. Starkville and it has never been good.
Took my money, sent a confirmation, and then wouldn't let me check in. Absolutely the worst experience in 35 years of being a road warrior. I will try to never use this chain again. I've been over-booked before but the hotel always called other hotels in the area and secured a room for me. Here, all I got was a number that played loud music and no one ever answered.
I stay in an accessible room for balance and mobility issues (non wheelchair user). This is the first room i have stayed in that the tub/shower was AMAZING. The handles were set closer to the user for easier use. The showerhead was easily moved and had very high pressure. The soaps were placed at hip height, not eye level. These details matter and are appreciated.
I definitely do not recommend this hotel, unless they completely replace their desk clerk staff.
During our entire 4 day stay, housekeeping never remade the bed, never brought fresh towels, never cleaned the room, and never replenished the supplies. Despite informing the gentleman at the front desk that there was no body wash, it never got replenished. The guests above us were obnoxiously loud. Despite informing the desk clerk, nothing was done about it, making it impossible to sleep. On our final morning, we had to watch the desk clerk argue with a guest regarding his status as a guest. She singled out this black man and his kids, claiming he wasn’t a guest of the hotel and that he had been stealing breakfast for over a week. After the police and management arrived, it was discovered that he was in fact a guest of the hotel. The desk clerk should be terminated for her actions and the guest that had to witness this man being wrongfully accused should be compensated for at least a day of their stay.
During my stay, I had trouble with the tv in my room. The first night I was without tv. The following morning, I went to approach the front desk to tell them about the issue but instead I discover this young man who was later working in the evening, confront his co worker threatening her with accusations. He told her to “come around the desk and find out because it is the last time he will be cordial with her” He was very loud, and aggressive. This was unprofessional and he should be fired for approaching this FEMALE worker in a threatening manner when he is a male. Do better!

From the time we exited our vehicle we were struck by the sleek decor and pristine atmosphere. Our server presented a menu of delicacies that admittedly evoked mouth watering. We ordered water and a sampler platter of appetizers plus a vegan meatball

It's well kept and an asset to the community. They need to open the new parking. I thought it wasn't open; but when I left the fields the other day, the cones had been moved and people parked there. Still a great place!
