Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sparta, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Sparta - 1301 N Market St, USA

I stay at this hotel when I get the chance to get away from work. It’s close enough to bigger cities like Belleville and St. Louis for easy travel for more option. Sparta also has a few great option just outside the door as well if you want to enjoy the quite and stay in. Smoked n smashed good bbq and rice and fries for Chinese. Also close to family and friends when I visit, staff are really friendly when large groups of family get together in the lobby, and breakfast here is all amazing.

They are always nice and welcoming when you enter the holiday in. The rooms was very clean. The beds were out of this world comfortable! It took me no time to fall asleep and stay asleep. The hot tub was comfortable and relaxing! Then the breakfast had much variety!

It felt like a home away from home. Very comfortable! Polite staff and quiet guest. Loved the variety at breakfast. My stay was short lived but very peaceful and wanted to stay longer!

I spend 3-5 weeks here each year for work. Not only does the staff remember me when I return each year, they take pains to make me feel like no request is too much. They have freshly-baked cookies available at the desk every afternoon, and bottled water is also available upon request. The breakfast area is consistently fresh and well stocked with a better than average selection of items. The public areas are cleaned continuously, and there is daily housekeeping (still rare to find since the pandemic) unless you decline. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Very clean, staff was accommodating. Pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, so you don't have to bring your own. Available wifi and cable.

Great hotel! My husband and I were there for a family wedding. The room was very clean and spacious. Great price! Staff was friendly and efficient. Loved the breakfast! Parking was very easy and convenient.

I have stayed here on several occasions and always very accommodating. The whole place is clean, particularly the rooms. The breakfast is always good and if you are staying longer than one night, the breakfast changes daily.

We stayed here for ease and comfort after a family reunion and we had an excellent stay! No issues and great service! Breakfast was great at wel! 5 stars! Will stay here again and highly recommend to others!
