Holiday Inn Express & Suites South Hill, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in South Hill - 1840 N Mecklenburg Ave, USA

Right off the highway and next to a Love's Truck stop so you can get snacks and drinks when needed. Room was clean, amenities were good. Team was very nice. Breakfast was the same, boring hotel food but adequate. Not a lot of good hotel options in the area so I was happy here. Would stay again.

The rooms were extremely clean – no foul odor of carpets, excellent staff, Good scented products, peaceful environment. Overall, Would highly recommend.

Had a great stay at this holiday inn express. Staff was wicked friendly and professional! More than accommodating for my stay and there was no question how clean it was! The only drawback was the loud gas station next door had trucks coming and going all day and night, was a bit disturbing and could wake a light sleeper more than it did me. Otherwise it was a great place and perfect for what I needed!

We were pleasantly surprised! The room was very spacious, clean and inviting. The hallways look and smell clean. All of the necessities were in the room: safe, microwave, refrigerator, iron, blow dryer, coffee maker. I love the fact that the remote control was in a little clear plastic bag. The pull up shades were nice. There are plenty of lights and outlets. When we are in the area and I'm need of a hotel, this is our first choice from now on..

Positive: The pool was relaxing, location was good. Negative: The breakfast was not great, the orange juices was empty, some of the items was over cooked, the ac in my room was not cooling.

Stood here for a few days when visiting lake phoenix , very convenient if your thinking of staying at a hotel when visiting the lake about 30 min ride down south , good value for the price , the gore overall was fine , there is a small pool which we basically had to ourselves the few days which was nice , breakfast is nothing special , our room was decent not the cleanest could use a deep clean but I wasn’t disgusted, clean enough , sheets and towels were clean hallway and hotel itself was very clean , staff super friendly and polite and accommodating, would maybe look for another next time to try but this hotel had the best reviews overall in the area , it was a good value for the price I do have to stay ,

Great hotel off I-85. I was traveling on I-85 and needed a place to stay for the night. I got a room right away without a reservation. Everyone was friendly. The property is new, modern and very clean. I loved my suite , the bed was comfortable, it had a coffee maker and a great bathroom. This hotel had a guest laundry room, pool and an outdoor picnic area with a grill. The free breakfast was as good as it gets for a free breakfast. They had pancakes, biscuits (even though the bottom was hard), toast, sausage , fruit, cereal and much more. I paid about $115.00 for the night so not bad. This is great place to stay while traveling.
