Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sikeston, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Sikeston - 115 Hospitality Dr, USA

Was started by a personable greeting and compliment on my sweater. Which made me feel better about my stay. Location was great for food and to get back on the road but without much noise. I liked the darkness of the room and despite being next to elevator not hearing constant noises or foot stomps.

The property as a whole is modern and well-maintained inside and out. The front desk associates were professional and welcoming both at check-in and check-out. The room as a whole and the bathroom in particular were sparkling clean. There is plenty of work space, and there's a comfortable easy chair for relaxing. |The HVAC was quiet and accurate and the wi-fi worked fine. There's very little noise from the nearby highway (my room was on the north end of the hotel furthest from the road) and the bed/bedding/pillows were all very comfy. The guest laundry on the second floor was a welcome amenity for an unplanned stop after many travel delays on a very rainy day, and detergent packs are among the many useful items available in the commisary area by the front desk. |The steak house that is conveniently just a few steps from the hotel was excellent. All in all an excellent and restful stay after a very long day.

I stayed due to medical. As someone in a wheelchair the ADA rooms were great. They do put things back on the wall of the sink, but staff was more than happy to scoot things within my reach. The door is heavy with no automatic option, but again, the staff was aware and willing to help. Over all it was a great stay. They even had a lift for the pool. I didn't try it, but I did see it in the pool room.

I was promptly greeted upon arrival. Check-in went smoothly. I had asked for a room away from the elevator and this was granted. Room was clean and everything worked properly. Bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was basic but had enough variety and was delicious. Check-out was polite and smooth, and we were on our way to our next destination.

Stayed a couple times. Always nice staff. Always a good room with a fridge and microwave. Never had any hassles. Huddle House is right across the parking lot in case you missed breakfast!

The staff is friendly and helpful, but the overall experience is not the best. The hotel smelled old and moldy. The room while spacious, hasn't been properly cleaned. The bedding was dirty, like you know it was replaced or washed. The curtain lining was moldy, the tissue wasn't replaced with a new one. Whoever was cleaning did below the bare minimum. I expected better from Holiday Inn.

Mackenzie at the front desk was the friendliest person. Her sweet and positive attitude made check in wonderful. I wish more hotels had people as wonderful as her.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Sikeston were wonderful! The room on the other hand was HORRIBLE. There was so much dust on the door you could write in it, it had a very pungent odor, other guests hair in towels and in the shower, no remote for the TV, someone had left a wig in the dresser drawer, the microwave looked like it had never been cleaned, there was obvious water damage on the curtains and peeling paint from the walls covered the floor. Overall the facilities at this location were undesirable and not worth the price tag.
