Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sequim, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (709)
We booked this hotel because we could book on IHG points and there was no other hotel on the peninsula to do so. We didn’t see any hotels in other major chains in Port Angeles, so this was the best option for us to not pay a cash rate for our family vacation. That said, we didn’t really have much to do in Sequim, and found ourselves driving west every day to Port Angeles 25 minutes to start our day, and back 25 minutes every evening. Was it worth it? Some might say yes, some might say no! ||The hotel is clean and comfortable, and my kids loved the pool and the breakfast. We did eat out breakfast twice in town, but otherwise the hotel each morning. The pool has a hot tub and plenty of fun pool things to play with, and had life vests for little kids.||The room did not have enough space for a pullout bed to be added. (The hotel acknowledged they don’t even have pull outs.) We would’ve preferred to have that extra bed for our three kids, but we ended up squeezing them all into one queen bed.||Shower and bathroom were all clean. Room temp controls were working just fine too. Parking was convenient, and we liked that there was a restaurant next door, which we got to use one evening.||One morning the fire alarm went off at 6 AM, and we all had to exit the building in the rain. It was a nice bonding moment for all those in the hotel!||The hotel was very good about providing us extra sheets, pillows, and towels - given we were a party of five in a room that usually serves four.||The hotel provided a water and a small snack to recognize my status with IHG.
We absolutely loved our stay. The location is great, Sequim is a quiet very tourist friendly town. The inn was friendly clean comfortable & accommodating. We didn’t care for pool or fitness time, as we were there to hike. But, the roof top was lovely, you could watch the fireworks from up top (we were there for the Fourth of July). Very quiet location right next door is a great dinner as well. The room was spacious & had all the necessary amenities. The did offer a decent breakfast bar and free parking. We felt safe & a very relaxing vibe.
Nice, clean motel. Really enjoyed the rooftop patio to relax. Rates seemed high, ($450) but that’s what you get for visiting during the summer high-tourist season. It was very quiet at night, and the staff were all very friendly. Would have liked vending machines on all 3 floors, instead of having to go down to the lobby to buy water and sodas.
The Good: The wonderful staff was always super friendly, helpful, and really made me feel like an appreciated guest. The room was was clean (although there was some rust spots in the tub that really should be dealt with), and the bed was very comfortable. The morning breakfast was a slight cut above other Holiday Inns I've stayed at with a little more attention to seasoning of the food. Either that, or I was just really hungry each morning. LOL There is a Black Bear Diner right across the parking lot as well if you don't want to drive anywhere for dinner or lunch. The Bad: There was some light bleed through the curtains and around the door - I really prefer my room to be pitch black at night, and that is really the sole reason for removing the one star. If you aren't bothered by light when you sleep, then this is a 5-star hotel. I will add that when you are coming to the hotel, trust your map app. It looks like it is on 101 if you aren't paying attention, but it is actually on a side road that runs parallel to it. I did make the mistake of not trusting Maps once and had to make a pretty big detour to get to the hotel. Not a fault of the hotel, and I'm not taking a star away for it, but just wanted to call attention to it. The Ugly: There wasn't anything that would prevent me from staying here again, and I would happily do so.
Kind and friendly staff.. exceptional front desk service. Quiet place to relax with family. Went with 9 month old and 5 year old kids and had great time in pool, and great breakfast with generous portions. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!!
Lovely stay! The front desk person was really really nice. The breakfast was great, and they had a rooftop terrace. Didn’t use pool, but that looked really nice as well. Bed was very soft, almost too soft, but had multiple pillow firmness options. Really enjoyed our stay.
Came in for one night. Room was spacious with a full fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. King bed was a delight. Room was very clean. The front deck agent was on night shift when we checked in and was ultra friendly, accommodating and provided recommendations for dinner. Highly recommend this HI Express.
Booked a room for a family emergency this was the only accommodations available in town. We were not allowed to check in before the 4pm time due to the staff stating the rooms were not clean. We arrived in town at 3pm and were hoping to get in our room before having to go deal with family. The card keys didn't open the outside doors from the parking lot we were told they were having issues so we had to walk all the way around each time we went out. The one nice thing about the stay was the Jacuzzi and especially the adult hours without kids around.

We loved our stay in early June! The rooms were homey and ours had a great view of the Strait. The B&B is calmly set among a peaceful neighborhood ~10 minutes from downtown Sequim. The hosts were extremely helpful in providing tips for general area.

This is an outstanding nature center! There is an exhibit room with dozens and dozens of examples of local wildlife spread across several exhibits showing them in their natural habitat. It is a fantastic place to bring children. There is a well supp
This was a great lunch after hiking this morning. We went on a Sunday and it was breakfast only. I had the quiche, which changes daily, it was broccoli & cheddar today. We also had a bear Pancake and a bacon omelette. The toast and jam was incredible
Had an amazing dinner here with my husband who is gluten intolerant. What a free experience for him to not worry about anything on the menu and just freely choosing what looks the most delicious. Service/Staff were so personable and wondeful. Drinks
A must visit beach ! Not as big as it used to be due to home owners claiming private access. Yet still big enough to have a beautiful stroll. Plenty of parking. Nice trail to get there.
