Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sedalia, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Sedalia - 4001 W Broadway Blvd, USA

Interrupted, bothered, to loud, not clean, smells bad. Liked the breakfast, & I really tried to enjoy the hot tub without over-thinking about the cleanliness· My review is based on first impression then how I was treated and felt. After first seeing the room I thought it was okay then I noticed an old key card on the counter, used coffee pods & used tissues in the drawer. I was Immediately concerned on the cleanliness of the room. After our vidit to the pool we returned to the room & I sat down on the chair over a towel to get clothes from the drawer and seen old food or something on the floor I only took a picture because at a distance i couldnt see what it was, I'm overweight so it was easier to blow it up to see what it was, i still have no idea? After getting dressed I folded down the bed to relax and it smelled like a man's Body Odor really bad. The pillows smelled super bad, I made a request for fresh pillows and didn't get any. I placed the heavily soiled pillows in the cabinet because they smelled so bad. I really do not believe this room was cleaned and that the bed was just made without changing the sheets, shams or placing fresh pillows. This was not a good experience. The spa floor was really dirty and the hot tub looked like it needed a good scrubbing. This hotel is really warn down. The towels in my room were shredding too, I've never seen that before. I'm also being charged additional charges on my credit card that I plan to dispute. The strangest thing happened shortly after I left also, the hotel called me asking me if I took pillows. I thought how odd?? I replied that they were placed in the cabinet, I honestly wonder if that's why I have additional charges to my card?? This is a strange hotel, staff are strange and very nosy. My daughter and I left to eat dinner and we were asked where we were going. I had a lot of red flags about this place. Definitely not a place to go on a Leisure trip with a child. I just didn't feel comfortable there, we really should have went to Hilton. We go on Leisure stays every other month, this is one we will not return to. Such a strange place. Disliked · I didn't like the smell of the room and bedding. I didn't like not feeling safe. The halls were to loud and keeps you awake.

I stay here 1-2 days weekly as I travel to the area for work. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and quiet which is great because I sleep during the day and work at night. The rates are nice and the staff always try to put me in a room far away from others because they are mindful of my sleep hours. Breakfast (aka dinner for me) is always great. The lady that makes and attends the buffet is always a pleasant person with a “Good Morning!” when I see her. Happy to stay here during my travels going forward!

Had to go out of my way to leave this review because the staff here is AMAZING. This is honestly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been in, and I’ve stayed in hundreds. They meticulously clean and they don’t forget the details. Rooms are very modern and spacious as well. I even forgot an expensive pair of sunglasses in my room and the house cleaner actually turned them in and they’re sending them to me! What an honest and great staff ❤️

Don’t have respect to their customers, and accused of something we did not do. Don’t recommend that hotel and their workers sleep at night during work shift

I use this hotel for work travel. Haven’t been able to try the breakfast because I leave at 5:30am. The room is nice and the only issue I have is the lighting. The room is too dark and the lighting in the restroom is nonexistent. There’s more light behind the mirror than in front, which makes it difficult to put makeup on adequately.

Stayed for two nights. Check in was fast. The employees were all very nice. Our room was modern, and very clean. Breakfast was a lot, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, cereal and more. I can't think of anything negative to say. Oh, and the water pressure was powerful! Next time we come back for a family visit, we will make sure we stay here.

I am VERY picky when it comes to hotels. This one was exceptional. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff greeted us on arrival. The breakfast was delicious and the lady taking care of the breakfast was so nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable room. Tile In my bathroom needs some attention, otherwise pleasant stay.
