Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raymondville, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (332)
The hotel is private and inviting. It’s nicely decorated and clearly cared for by a dedicated staff. The rooms are immaculate, the housekeeping staff is incredibly friendly and do their job phenomenally. The AC is powerful so you won’t wake up in a sweat in this Texas heat and the complimentary breakfast is a 10/10, they provide the major food groups and keep the area tidy. However, with all those positives, the real stars of my stay have been Gisela and Adrian. I would like to take some time to commend them for their exemplary work ethic, their personable attitudes and genuinely how kind and understanding they are. Their customer service secured my business with IHG and their affiliate companies. I hope management recognizes their efforts and understands the immense value these employees bring to this company!
:** Unacceptable Conditions - Roaches in the Room‼️ I recently stayed here for 2 night stay, paying $253 for what I expected to be a clean and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, my stay was ruined by the presence of roaches in the room. This is completely unacceptable and not at all what I expected for the price I paid. I brought this issue to the attention of the hotel staff, but my concerns were not addressed adequately. Instead of offering a refund or even a partial refund, the hotel refused to compensate me for the stay. I feel this is extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on their commitment to guest satisfaction and basic hygiene standards. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given their lack of concern for the health and comfort of their guests. This experience has left me very disappointed, and I urge others to avoid this property until they address these serious issues. As you can see from the pictures I provided there is a roach on the side my Q-tips, and there is a roach on the corner of the counter towards the back.
We rented about 13 rooms at the end of December 2023 for a wedding block. Fantastic rooms, price was great, great breakfast options, location was exactly what we needed, and the front desk was kind throughout the stay. We had a few billing and check in/out issues and the general manager was kind about fixing them, however it was frustrating. The hotel block was setup to honor the price, however when we checked in a day early, all rooms were checked in on our card. This became a nightmare as most rooms (8 of the 13) were not coming in that day. So those rooms were charged for a night in which no one was staying. Some rooms were not checked out on time, resulting in more charges, again to the wrong card because cards were not collected at check-in for each guest. Very frustrating. A minor annoyance also occurred when we dropped off gift bags for all guests at the front desk. (Two large tubs.) They handed out the 8 bags that were sitting on top, but the front desk did not open the tubs to pass out any of the other bags. Again - not a huge issue but frustrating. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, however you may want to double-triple check all details especially if dealing with groups/blocks/multiple reservations.
Nice people at the desk. Rooms are good. Motel was decorated over the top with Pride Month. Acknowledgment is one thing. Cramming the lifestyle down the publics throat is another matter. I will choose another hotel chain in June! My children don't need to be indoctrinated with a Motel stay!
Positive: Hotel employee at the front desk was amazing! She turned a potentially bad situation into a good one. I made an error booking and she rectified our reservation. Thank you Hotel employee for your help! Negative: ""
The older man that works the graveyard shift named Adrian is VERY unprofessional. When you go in the lobby during the day it’s very welcoming. There is pillows on the sofas and it’s very comforting and at night the pillows are gone on the middle sofa and he lays down during work hours like it’s his home. There is nothing wrong with sitting there, but it sets off the wrong vibe and we didn’t even bother going downstairs like we originally planned because of him. When you ask him for anything he has an attitude like don’t get yourself comfortable and relaxed when you are supposed to be up and ready for any of the guests needs. Never does he have a friendly smile and it’s VERY uncomfortable! This is the type of person you DON’T want working for you. I will gladly drive 20-30 miles down the road where I’m guaranteed a pleasant stay!
Today is Easter Sunday and the lady at the front desk Called the police to escort me and my children out all because we wanted to speak to a Manager, I’ve been staying here a week with my children and today I guess someone pissed in Angela’s cereals she chose to be a B! Our room was messy due to a family night we had they then tried to charge me $100 for some “towels” that were ruined due to my daughter being a young lady and having a menstrual cycle. ANGELA refused to hear anything her and 2 other employees laughed the whole time. Then ANGELA stated I shouldn’t even be here because my mother rented the room but it’s under my name , that we couldn’t do that because they wouldn’t let her do it in Houston for her daughter.( so I’m assuming it’s personal ) I was then told by the housekeeping manager they have to “come in and clean my room everyday after I told her I clean it every night when my kids go to sleep because I don’t trust anyone with my daughters or their things. They said that they “ legallly “have to be the ones to come in and clean. They went through all my things and took pictures of everything my kids birth certificates and socials were even moved. My mother is a diamond elite member she has been booking for years and has never had these problems. I never got disrespectful with anyone all I asked for was to speak to a manager to get clarification and ANGELA decided to call the police and I told her ma’am you don’t have to do that I’m not refusing to Leave all I’m asking for is to speak to a a manager. She wouldn’t even call the manager
Horrible customer service. I booked online via Priceline. My SO went inside and paid for a room w his credit card, not realizing I already booked the room. Priceline was nonrefundable, so he asked for them to refund his card and we would stay under my reservation. They refused. 👎

I love restaurants like this. The food was cooked fresh, and it tasted like your grandmother made it. If I could suggest anything, I would say if y'all double fried your French fries, they would be absolutely perfect! Thank you, Gisele, for warm and
The food is always delicious and the service is great. But even better, I saw a homeless man walk in and one of the staff offered him a free cup of hot coffee. It was one of the nicest things I've seen in a long time.
I never really except much from a McDonald the food is usually alright and service is usually pretty straightforward. However at this McDonaldâs in particular I had a great experience due to the level of customer service here. The service was excep
