Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queensbury - Lake George Area, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (419)
We (family of 5) stayed here 3 nights for activities in the Saratoga/Lake George area. This hotel is approximately halfway between Saratoga Springs and Lake George Village. It's also convenient to Six Flags and downtown Glens Falls. ||The rooms and everything else here are extremely clean. Staff is helpful and there are always people around if you have a question or need anything. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this one has perhaps the very best complimentary breakfast of anywhere we've been. I have never seen Chobani greek yogurt or Silk (I think that was the brand!) almond milk offered at any other hotel breakfast but they had those here, along with delicious cinnamon rolls and a very wide variety of other breakfast options. The breakfast area was impeccably clean. Our family enjoyed the pool and workout room as well. There is a convenience store within walking distance if you need anything there, and the hotel also has some grocery-type items in the lobby if necessary.||Ours was an excellent stay and we'd definitely stay here again if we are in the area. | I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay in Queensbury.||(Other reviews mention highway noise but it was never an issue for us.)
Overall we were pleased. The hotel both in the private rooms as well as public areas was really clean. The breakfast area was clean, spacious and the food was good. The women working in the breakfast area were pleasant. One even handed out candy! ||The rooms were nice and roomy. The room bathrooms were large as well! ||The location was close enough to attractions but also not in the middle of all the hub bub. ||The only real negative was that the front desk staff seemed frazzled by the eclipse and that they ran out of towels. The hotel and parking lot never seemed over crowded but in the 4 days we were there, they never got any more towels.
Positive: We enjoyed it all. Good parking.Clean rooms with great amenities- coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The staff was lovely and responsive. The pool and hot tub were both working with great hours: 6am to 10pm. The breakfast had good hours and good variety Negative: "" Negative: ""
The hotel was clean and the reception was nice.|I did found the noise from the 87 to be very loud, so we put on the AC but that was loud too. There was only McDonalds and Taco Bell walking distance for supper.|If I went back I would request the top floor as we could hear heavy footsteps on our head, but at night it was quiet.|The best part of this hotel was the breakfast. It was delicious. Many options of breads. The eggs were fresh and the sausage delicious. Food was hot and the area very clean.
The staff at this hotel are to be commended. Every single person we encountered couldn't have been nicer and friendlier. The hotel is completely immaculate. Quiet, comfortable, safe, an out-of-this-world complimentary breakfast with hot buffet, cold cereal, pancake maker, toast, yogurt, milk, fruit, delicious cinnamon rolls, muffins. |We stayed in room 405. Top floor. Far from elevators. Ice maker on the floor. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge in room. Bed and linens so comfortable, a great night's sleep. Dove toiletries provided are great. Did not hear any highway noise. |Gym, indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor BBQ, guest laundromat available, candy store in lobby. Plenty of on site parking. McDonald's, Taco Bell, and gas station close by. |I left comments in the staff recognition program box.
Very nice hotel, modern and clean, spacious room (well equipped), good breakfast, friendly staff, free coffee and tea always available at the reception! Recommended!
As an IHG Platinum member, I received a free upgrade to a spacious room in this well-maintained, seemingly new hotel. The large bathroom and ample parking were plusses. However, the experience was marred by several issues: housekeeping neglect, nighttime noise requiring constant A/C use, subpar breakfast with poor restocking, and the presence of bugs in the room. While the staff was friendly at check-in and the location seems car-dependent, the lack of expected Platinum perks and cleanliness concerns detract from what could be a better stay.
The nicest Holiday Inn I’ve seen (and I travel a lot). Very clean. Room smelled nice. A woody, log cabin kind of scent. Staff was professional and kind. Breakfast had everything I needed (except oatmeal). Great price. If I traveled along I-87 regularly, this would be my go-to hotel.

Awesome trails! We are a couple of 60+ year olds, and have been working our way thru the local trails. This one took us almost twice as long than the same distance on Halfway Brook, we really needed to pay attention to the roots and rocks....which is
I brought my daughter and her friend here for her 15th birthday and we had such a great time! The attendant spent a lot of time going over gun safety as we needed it and allowed us to move along at our own pace. He was incredibly kind and patient, wh
Okay first of all, mini golf is pretty popular pastime in the Lake George area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location has TWO courses! Thatâs 36 holes total! I believe the prices were $10 per person for one course or $16 to do both
