Holiday Inn Express & Suites Petersburg - Fort Gregg Adams, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Petersburg - 11979 S Crater Rd, USA

I am an IHG member for a reason. I know what I am going to get. This hotel does NOT let you down. Clean rooms that are spacious compared to the average sized hotel room. Breakfast is hot and fresh. The gym is larger you would expect. Two treadmills an elliptical and a stationary bike there's also free weights and a bench and more. The pool is not huge but great for a few laps and great size for kids to have fun in. In addition I have seen the staff clean and treat it several times since my stay. But, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are very helpful and solve any issues they can for you as soon as possible. Weather or not it's propane for the grill of if you ask for extra towels. They are amazing. And I have to especially say thank you to Monique for all her help. This will definitely be a place I come back to if the opportunity comes up again.

I really enjoyed my stay here for a whole month. The general manger, Desmond, and front desk, Ashley, were the absolute best. They helped me out a lot when I asked for something and they were always making sure my stay was as comfortable as it could’ve been. I do have to say I feel as though the housekeeping could’ve been a bit more consistent especially for being there for a month, but when they did come by they always did a phenomenal job on making sure my room was clean and neat. The location of the hotel is 10 mins driving from food places, the mall, pretty much anywhere. Overall, I really recommend this inn for how pleasant and safe is felt.

I always stay at Holiday inn Express when I am traveling, convenient location, but this time the room was so outdated that the fridge was broken and the bathroom was not as clean as the rest of Holiday inn Express I stayed in over the years. The room was very spacious though, fit six people with plenty of room for bags and stuff to store. Just not satisfied with the quality and cleanliness of the room

Positive: Location was convenient and staff was decent at the hotel while we were there. How they behaved after we left is a whole different story. Negative: beds were very uncomfortable. we found a roach in the bathroom. Informed staff. Were told they were giving us points on IHG account. Never got them and they charged us twice for the room. 2 months later and no refund after 10 phone calls and no points.

Would not recommend staying here. Guy who was supposed to be working the desk was asleep in the small cubby area adjacent to the desk. When I came to check in with my family (around 5:30pm), there was no one at the check in desk. We rang the bell… nothing. Then 2 more guests came in to check in and after waiting a few minutes said “hello, is anyone here?” We started to peek behind the desk and that’s when we saw a foot propped up on a stool in the area adjacent to the desk. We must have been loud enough to wake him up so he could check us in. His eyes were bloodshot and he was clearly not sober. Rooms are fine. Echo the other comments that rooms feel damp. Everything is outdated and just hoping it’s clean enough to get us through a one night stay. Will not stay here again.

I want to say thanks for the hospitality. Great service from the crew specially Desmond and his staff. We stay there on our way out from Fort Gregg Adams. Greeted daily, room were clean, small issue with the bed frame but his staff was able to get it done so my children could sleep comfortably. Complementary breakfast was what my children like the most. Thanks again for the help and for the hospitality. Proud to be IHG member

Hello all, This was a wonderful experience for my family four day stay. Joe at the front desk was a Great part in the experience. Assisted in advise base on the area needs. Positive: Location was convenient, minutes off of I-95. The room was spacious. Negative: Hotel room, although spacious, was average. Not dirty, but also not totally clean. TV in the bedroom did not work properly. The hot breakfast might have been the worst tasting hotel breakfast I ever experienced.
