Stayed here visiting my parents. Hotel was clean and staff were all amazing and helpful. Nicely renovated and welcoming. Our housekeeper Crystal was so good to us and made sure to keep us stocked with clean towels and picked up our trash each morning which was nice since I have an 8 month old and 4 year old.
This hotel had a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walked in the door. The rooms were amazingly set up and very clean. The bed was so comfortable that you just sink right in it for sleep. Everything about this hotel was great and we stayed the next night due to those reasons.
I came to Peru to visit my cousin for the weekend for her birthday. The Holiday inn Express is in a great location close to anything you might need. Becca checked me in and gave me a great room, for there was a wedding party that night and she wanted me to be as comfortable as possible.
Tammie in the pantry/ kitchen is Amazing! She made sure that all the food was very well stocked, and I never saw her standing around for a second, she was always wiping something down cleaning or filling. She has great customer service skills!! Thank you Tammie for everything and the bacon!
Last but not least, Kelly checked me out and took very good care of me and made sure I had everything I needed for my room.

At this hotel they have the best breakfast,Tammy does a great job. Also we had a great experience with Kelly at the front desk. This hotel was completely remodeled a year ago and it is state of the art as far as I'm concerned.
Becca at the front desk was an angel when we arrived late at night looking for a place to stay while driving cross country. Super nice and quick checkin, and was able to help when I locked the key in my room. |The rooms were really clean, cozy, and full of amenities. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, and I felt safe and clean. |The breakfast the next morning was good, and Kelly at the front desk made checkout a breeze. |Would very much recommend staying here.
I stayed here for four nights. They keep this place really clean! The breakfast was good. I even really liked their biscuits and gravy. Everyone working here was really nice, too. And you are really close to starved rock state park! Definitely make time to go for a hike there!
I would like to start by Thanking Kelly, who runs the front desk. She was very attentive and has fantastic attention to detail. Our family reserved a block of rooms for a wedding, and every guest was greeting and taken care of. Nothing but positive things to say about room service and every person who works hard to keep this hotel services running smoothly. Thank you so much for a great weekend. I would definitely recommend anyone to book a stay here.
Stay was nice. Pretty clean rooms friendly staff. Two days a week, there was no hot breakfast for whatever reason. That was three weeks in a row. But otherwise, it was a great stay. Trisha, Kelly is absolutely awesome. Any issues or needs, they are more than willing to make things right and get any issues fixed. The entire staff was absolutely awesome I really enjoyed the stay.

For a small little bar, they sure have great service and good reasonably priced food! Thursdays are $6 pork tenderloin and fries, it's enough for two meals. Crunchy breading and pretty flavorful. Definitely worth the price!
They didnât have what we were looking for but they still had a great selection of everything else. The staff was friendly and the store was clean and organized. Always have a nice experience at any of the harbor freight locations.
