Holiday Inn Express & Suites Park City, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Park City - 1501 W Ute Blvd, USA

Surprisingly this was a great budget friendly 2 star hotel. We planned this Park City trip last minute and wanted to save some money. This hotel had everything we needed from a hot tub/spa to breakfast. The hotel was kept clean and service was good. Its close to Park City, the highway and its next to a shopping plaza. Highly recommend and we will be coming back.

I first started to come here as a testing point in my 20-22 hour drive several months ago. The woman was so kind and understanding and really helped me after having some horrible hotel experience in Salt Lake City (that and every hotel on my route was completely booked). Due to that experience I make this hotel my stopping point after 11-13 hour drive. Hotel is very nice and clean. As a solo female traveler I feel safe and that my car is safe here as well. They are also dog friendly which is a huge plus. Recently I noticed the night staff seems to be very stressed or bothered at my late check ins (i do mention them when booking and call in to be safe). My recent experience the employee seemed to be upset and overwhelmed with a lot of things going on Over all I really do like this hotel location and its cleanliness. Makes my stopping point so much less stressful Prices seem to fluctuate and my recent stay was much much more expensive than I’m used to. Probably because of the holiday weekend

My husband and I travel a lot for leisure and it seems as if the past 3 years hotel prices have doubled while the quality of the properties has decreased greatly. This hotel blew it out of the park. It was clean. It was comfortable. It was quiet. There were no funky bright lights or flashing lights in the room. The bedding was comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous. The pool/ sauna area was clean operating, and the fact that children weren't admitted after 10pm was a huge plus. We were both so pleased with our stay here. I always thought of holiday Inn expresses to be more of a basic property but this one was actually worth the price. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

With the exception of the morning front desk person this was an excellent stay. The night person who checked us in was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were very very clean. Maybe the morning front desk person was just not having a good day but he was more interested in watching whatever he was watching on his phone that he was in engaging with me in a conversation while my husband went and got the car. Other than that this was a really nice property and if we are ever in this area again we will stay here.

Came here to spend our anniversary night and was close to the restaurant we booked for our 20th anniversary. The location was great, close to shopping and supermarkets and restaurants but tucked away so it was nice and quiet. Room was clean, and we absolutely loved the 24/7 pool and hot tub and steam room, no kids after 10pm. It was a short but relaxing stay.

I was extremely impressed by everything from floor to roof of my stay. The comfort of the bed, the customer service from the men at the front desk was amazing and I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in. Checking in and out was fast and easy, the hotel was quiet and breakfast was even amazing. We will be back!!! Thank you for a great staycation.

I don't get excited staying at a HIX but they do the job. If that's all you're looking for, this will fit the bill. I liked the location, in the middle of a big shopping center with some interesting restaurant options, a supermarket, and a surprisingly nice nature preserve with trails for walking or running. As for the hotel itself, a decent woodsy design for the brand, but the room itself was on the small side. It was modern with the standard HIX design elements and a good bed and bedding- but I didn't really like the sink being in the main bedroom. I also hated the adjoining room, which was a bit of a problem in terms of hearing my neighbor. Also the HVAC system is old and there is no wall thermostat, only a plastic dial on the unit itself with no temperature setting so you have to keep adjusting it in the hopes of finding a comfortable temp. Must have been the original units from a long time ago but at least it was relatively quiet. Breakfast was the HIX standard: free and you get waht you pay for. Anyway, in terms of a reasonable place for a short stay it was okay and I give it a 4/5 mostly because I liked the location

I took my wife up to Park City for her birthday and was able to use my IHG points to book a one night stay at the hotel. The person at the front counter greeted me and got us our key and room quickly. The room was clean and well conditioned. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub being accessible 24 hours. Only drawback is location, as it’s more near the freeway than it is Park City, but it’s only a 15 minute drive.
