We stayed here with our teenage daughter. It was our first stay at this hotel. We appreciate the consistency of the Holiday Inn Express hotels. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but the full and complete breakfast was greatly appreciated as usual. The room was very clean and comfortable. With sensitive skin, I also appreciate all the Dove brand amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and hand wash). We were thrilled with the location just on the outskirts of Cleveland. Only recommendation is to study the map a bit as the frontage road can be a little challenging to get into when you’re coming off the highway. We are building a solid loyalty to the Holiday Inn Express hotels based on our family travel over the last 5 years and highly recommend!

I am a travel advisor and booked this hotel for some clients which are friends of ours due to the high reviews but am extremely disappointed in the service they had received. My clients were traveling as a family of 7. They booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds but when they arrived at the hotel, they were told that their rooms were given away and the only rooms available for them were king beds. This might have worked if their children were all small but 4 of the 7 were adults and the rest in or near their teen years. 2 king beds wouldn't due. My clients asked if there was a 3rd king room that they could have and would even pay for but they were told there were no more rooms available. Seeing that my client was obviously upset, having booked these rooms over a month ago and wishing to have a comfortable place to sleep after a long day of travel, the front desk staff asked them to wait a minute while she headed in the back (we believe her name was Krista). She returned after a short 3-4 minutes stating that her manager said they would be reimbursed for the two rooms and would get them free for the night. This helped my client feel a little better. He asked for extra bedding and pillows, was almost denied what they would need, and headed up to their rooms. They ended up with two kids sleeping on a chair with an ottoman at their feet and one child sleeping on pillows on the ground. NOT what they had paid for. I have been trying for the last 5 days to get their refund that was promised to them. I first spoke to Krista just after my clients had called me about the reimbursement to get a confirmation. She told me that a manager wasn't in the building. When I asked who told my clients they could get a reimbursement, she stated she didn't know. I asked when the manager would be in and she said the following morning. I then called the next morning, only to be told that the manager wouldn't be in until Monday. When I was finally able to get a hold of the manager, we were told they would not get a refund as they stayed the night and were given 4 king rooms. This was not true as they were told there were no more available rooms and were only given keys to 2 rooms. We were then told that the manager would speak with this employee and investigate but it was doubtful that the client would get a full refund as they excepted the rooms. I am still waiting to hear back and intend to call again this morning but thought it would be good to leave a review of the poor experience had at this hotel and the lies told by both employee and manager, ignoring my clients and their needs.

Nice hotel overall but the suite was small and highly overpriced. Clean room but nothing special and not worth the cost. One of the light bulbs was out. Breakfast was good but ran out of hot water for tea a couple of times because the dispenser was very small. There is a pool but not a hot tub

Exceptionally pristine exterior with a well lit parking lot. The surrounding area felt safe with newly built amenities abounding. Front desk staff were patient and exceedingly professional. Our rooms were thoroughly cleaned. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast delicious. Give them a shot!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I booked a room at this Holiday Inn through a third-party booking agency and had an absolutely awful experience. I called ahead to change our reservation to the night before we originally booked, and I spoke directly with the general manager, Mark. He assured me that he would handle the change without any issues. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk informed us that our reservation was still set for the next night. I explained that Mark had promised to change the reservation, but she insisted that, because we booked through a third party, they couldn't modify the reservation. To make matters worse, the hotel was fully booked, leaving us with nowhere to stay. Mark never mentioned during our phone call that I needed to contact the third-party agency to change the reservation—he simply said he would take care of it. To add insult to injury, when we had the third-party agency call the hotel for a refund, Mark refused. We ended up losing a significant amount of money and had to pay even more to find a last-minute place to stay. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. The management is unhelpful and dishonest, and Mark, in particular, was completely unreliable and unprofessional. Don't risk your money or your plans by staying here.

TRAVELER ALERT! This hotel will cancel reservations at the last minute! While traveling back to Wisconsin from Maine we received a phone call at 4:45 pm that our reservation had been cancelled. At that point we had been on the road for 11 hours. Their excuse - computer overbooking. Their solution -none. Did nothing to help us find new arrangements basically left us out to dry. This reservation was booked a month in advance. We follow this route every summer and have repeatedly stop at this hotel so we are a repeat customer. On top of this the manager did not have the guts to call us instead we were contacted by an entry level desk clerk. IHG of which I am a member, was also of no help. Kept me on the phone for over an hour with no solution. End result I’m awarded some worthless points that basically buys me a bottle of water! Needless to say we will not be staying at a hotel that does not honor their reservation contract. I also will not be staying at any IHG properties in the future. This has already cost them one reservation I was planning on for August.

We distinctly told the maid we were coming back don't touch the room yet. It was early and we also put the do not disturb sign out.. We returned and she had been in the room and items were missing. We went to the front desk and the gal was very Cavalier about it. There was no adjustment to the bill or a real apology
