Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newport, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Newport - 135 SE 32nd St, USA

We decided to take a last minute trip to Newport and we’re pleased to be able to reserve our room on the way. The employees that greeted us were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean but we had one with a fridge that made noise all night. The pool was surprisingly warm, which was nice, and we liked that there was a restroom in the pool room. The breakfast was filling and plentiful and the employees working kept it well stocked and clean. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot next to the aquarium and a really cute row of stores. Definitely recommend and very family friendly! Just know there are no vending machines on site so plan ahead.

Great location and nice staff. There's a pool and hot tub. I am pretty sure that someone slept in my bed though before I arrived and the sheets were reused because I found many hairs... Long and short and different colors. Human and dog like. Even all wrinkled! I turned everything inside out to sleep somewhat clean I hope and it was only one night and I was here for work too late to say anything I felt late at night when I got in. Continental breakfast in morning was pretty good. U don't get many towels and Kleenex was nearly empty upon arrival

The facility is nicely located where you can get to attractions within 5- minute walks. The staff are very attentive and responsive. The pool is awesome, especially when there is fewer people in there. The breakfast was nice and warm and 6am open time is awesome as it gives us more time to explore the town My only con that I can think of is the bed was a little hard, the hideaway bed had a screw missing from one side, still usable but a sharp corner is to try and not hit it. Unfortunately it seems they forgot to vacuum under the couch.

It was a very nice hotel. Looks pretty new! The staff was very nice. I didn't get recognized as a Priority Club member, which was strange. Normally I haven't had that. But it didn't bother me much, the staff was nice enough as it was. The breakfast was good. A few more kids breakfast items would have been nice. The cereal wasn't stuff my kids would eat. They did have an empty dispenser that might have had kids' cereal in it. They could have been empty. Again, not a big deal, still liked it. I would stay there again for sure.

On October 16 2023 ,My wife and I went to our anniversary and I fell in the bathtub and I was hurt i have pictures of my bruises. Then I talked to the counter person who got me the manager. He took a statement and put it in writing I wrote out a statement to, I still have both statements. I had bruises for weeks. They said they would call me, they never did. I called them 3 × to get the insurance so I could get to My doctor to look at me and they never called back. They said they would but never did. . They gave me a claim number but wouldn't tell me where to send the bill at. I feel they don't care about there visitors. So I would not recommend this motel to anyone

The Holiday Inn Express in Newport, Oregon has always been one of our favorite places to stay. The hotel and its rooms feel modern and are very clean. Front desk staff are always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of the Oregon Coast Aquarium and other attractions and is right off the highway.

Had an excellent experience. Very clean and quiet room. Good breakfast although the pancake maker needed fixed. Enjoyed using the hot tub and was happy it was open till 11pm. Friendly staff and easy check in. Liked the cookies at check in.

Other than a non-working room heater, my stay was very pleasant. Made do by using the covers from the other bed. Good breakfast, great pool & spa. Very nice staff!
