Holiday Inn Express & Suites Natchitoches, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Natchitoches - 5137 University Pkwy, USA

We stayed at this hotel in December of 2022. I wrote a good review. Not today. When we checked in, we were not told that part of the hotel was without fire protection. I don’t even know how they could stay open. The service was not working on the 3rd floor and that’s where we stayed. We should have left. We didn’t hear anyone in the halls checking through the night. We would have heard, because neither of us slept. There is road construction at the hotel turn in which makes it difficult to go anywhere.

Nice hotel and room. Although don’t stay on the second floor. You can hear kids running up and down the hall from above. I would recommend third floor. Room needs carpet cleaned. Many stains on carpet. Breakfast was good. Although no fresh cinnamon rolls. They were packaged. I always look forward to the fresh cinnamon rolls at holiday inn. Great location for restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel and room. Although carpets need cleaning. Many stains throughout room. breakfast was fair. Not the best that I’ve had at Holiday inn’s. On a scale 1-5 I would give it a 2. Omelettes were brown. Fruit has gnats flying around. I was disappointed in cinnamon rolls being packaged. I usually enjoy the fresh cinnamon rolls that I’ve had at other Holiday Inns. If you stay here I would recommend the third floor. We were on the second floor and you could hear kids above running down the hallway back and forth in the late hours of the evening. Otherwise the room was fairly quiet.

Skip this hotel. Maybe it’s not bad when there’s not construction going on, but it’s awful now. I asked for a quiet room and when I got was heavy equipment right outside the window, but operated until dark and heaving large things into the dumpster at 7:30 AM. The fitness room was all boarded up no breakfast at all. And none of the staff seem to care. Horrible experience.

With my job all I do is go from hotel to hotel. This has been the worst experience. I have ever dealt with at this hotel The lady at the front desk is completely incompetent. I have been up-and-down the elevator because my room will not open The fitness center is out of commission This hotel is completely trash and I mean it

We booked a stay with this hotel the middle of April. Upon entering our room there was a major stained area on the carpet. Looked like a chemical stain. Additional stains across the rest of the carpet. Had the manager on duty that evening come check the room and was told they would reduce the cost of the room for us. When we checked in the computer system was down so told us this would happen once computer were functioning again. Spoke to the manager on duty the next morning (computers still down) and again was told they would reduce the cost of the room for us. Once we returned home called the hotel and asked for the manager on duty to inquire about the reduction and was told no manager was on duty at that time and would have someone return my call. To date have not received a phone call nor any indication of a reduction in cost. Am extremely disappointed in the service from this hotel chain location.

I’m not one to leave reviews unless it’s just really bad. By far the worst holiday inn express I have ever stayed in. Room was sub par on cleanliness not to mention the rooms smell very musky. Parking is trash and the pool is not clean at all. Disappointed to say the least.

Nice place the name of this place is hilarious to pronounce. I guess it had nice rooms and breakfast but I dont really like Louisiana stay in Texas it’s way nicer. Not the best TV selection.
