Holiday Inn Express & Suites Middletown - Goshen, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Middletown - 20 Med Parc Road, USA

I stayed 1 night with my bf and 2 kids. We were suggested to get the room with a king bed and queen pull out sofa. So we did, everything was nice, however for the pull out sofa, no pillows, sheets or blankets were provided. When I called the front desk they said they were out of pillows and to come downstairs for the sheets. Last hotel i stayed, we had a worker come bring up warm sheets and pillows. Not sure if my expectations were little higher than usual but if i was suggested that room and having in writing that kids were involved, i would've thought there would be pillows and sheets on top of the sofa. Besides that, everything else was nice. Very good breakfast selection and nice bathroom and pool. Will return.

We usually stay at another hotel when visiting Legoland NY but we had some trouble booking with them so decided to give this location a try and we will definitely be back! The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, options for everyone from picky kids to vegetarians, and they ran it all the way until the end of breakfast, not just “until stuff ran out” like at other establishments we’ve visited. Rooms were clean and had plenty of counter/desk space for our family’s needs. The pool was nice and clean and since we were there on a weeknight, it was empty and my kids were swimming as late as they could! 🙂 Would have been a five star review but for two small things: we put a request on our reservation to be roomed near our friends who we were on vacation with, and instead of doing that they had our rooms three floors apart. They were able to get us at least on the same floor after check in when we noticed this discrepancy, but it would have been nice to have that accounted for ahead of time. Also the even numbered rooms face the highway and if you are not used to that noise it can be disruptive to your sleep. Bring a white noise machine and you should be okay!

Fantastic hotel. No issues EXCEPT FOR... I was a prisoner in my own room. Yep, that's right. My door keys never worked, no matter how many times they changed out my door keys. I had two options. Never leave my room, or always have to be escorted back to my room by an employee so they could let me in my room. Something about the door key scanner battery dying. But they never fixed it during the length of my multi-day stay and they never apologized for it.

Definitely exceeded our expectations in a few different categories! The building looks pretty new, the rooms are clean and spacious, the continental breakfast has plenty of options, the gym and pool were great, and the overall service was solid. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Legoland again in the future!

To me, a 5-star rating is highly unusual and means in all aspects, this business was outstanding. An exceptional value, this Holiday Inn Express exceeded all expectations. Clean room with everything working as it should. The blackout shade was close to the window meaning no light came in from the sides. The room and bathroom were spacious and well lit. The HVAC had a fan ON setting which I like for "white noise" to sleep. The bathroom sink is raised so washing anything in it doesn't hurt my back by requiring me to bend. Breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious. Every staff member I encountered was gracious and/or helpful. I cannot wait to go back!

Free breakfast had many options & the coffee was so good. The rooms were very clean. Right off the highway and 10 minutes from LegoLand. Hotel was quiet & the pool was not packed at all. Breakfast staff was very nice and helpful. Make sure the room alarm is not on, mine woke me up at 6a but breakfast made up for it 😉

Been here less than an hour and already regret it. We were unwelcomed by a most unfriendly front desk. After settling in I went down to the snack section to get some waters because I guess 30 welcome bags behind the receptionist with the water bottles were for the other guests and not us, anyways as I was looking at the display case I asked to make sure that it was still open to make a purchase in which the front desk said yes Md then made a wise comment to another employee how she now had to wait to count her draw because I needed to buy a few drinks. Very unprofessional. Some people should not be in customer service if you have no people skills and a strong attitude. Let’s see if we make it through the night ok.

The hotel was excellent, my family and I stood two nights while visiting Legoland and wow we loved everything about our stay the cleanness of the hotel and room was perfect, the staff very friendly, and room and beds super comfortable. The breakfast super good. And lots of near by restaurants and things to do with the family. Whenever we be back visiting we will be definitely staying here again. Thank you
