I have found Holiday Inn Expresses are safe and good places to stay. This one was no different. Rooms are nice. Beds are great. Customer service excellent. My first room smelled like someone had smoked in it (though no smoking is allowed in the hotel) and the front desk person put me in another room, no hassle. ||She also told me about a great place to grab a drink and food (Drake, I think). But there are plenty of places to eat around there.||Enjoy.

We stayed in a 2 queen bed suite. Room is spacious and good space to work. I want to commend the staff. They are friendly and professional. Attentive to our needs. Special shout out to Joyce. She made our stay extra special. She is a gem. Thank you!

Love this little hotel. Mr. Lewis at the front desk did everything possible to help our family have a great experience there. I appreciated his professional demeanor and appearance as well, which unfortunately has become a rarity among hoteliers these days. Many restaurants within walking distance as well.

This hotel was a surprise after some other poor experiences. The staff was very friendly and concerned that you were taken care of. The lady working the breakfast made sure everyone was more than happy. A very well run and well staffed location. Very clean. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Kudos.

The staff here was super nice and welcoming. We were there for Derby Weekend and the hotel was full of decorations, activities, and contests. Very clean place. Clean and spacious King Rooms. Just a quick Rideshare away from downtown Louisville. Very short ride! Thanks for making Derby Weekend fun!

I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for 13 days during a work trip, and it was truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The stay was calm and pleasant, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Location and Surroundings: The hotel is centrally located with a variety of dining and shopping options nearby. HomeGoods and Burlington Coat Factory are just a short walk away, while Target and Walmart are within a two-mile radius. This makes it convenient for guests to grab a meal or do some quick shopping without venturing too far. Hotel Amenities: The amenities at this Holiday Inn are impressive. The gym, though small, is efficient and well-equipped with weights, yoga mats, an elliptical, a treadmill, and a stationary bike. Breakfast, although the same every day, includes a good variety of fresh fruits, yogurt, oatmeal, and several other hot options. It's a great way to start the day on a healthy note. Staff and Service: The hotel staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. Many young women work the front desk, and I was particularly impressed by Molly and Shay. When I checked in, Shay was there to ensure everything was perfect for my stay and regularly checked in to see if I needed anything. Her restaurant recommendations were also spot on! Two incidents with Molly stood out. Once, I forgot my room key, and she happily provided a replacement with a positive attitude that made the process seamless. Another time, I needed hot water for tea, and the machine in the lobby was empty. Molly promptly refilled it and restocked the tea rack, ensuring guests had everything they needed. Being away from home for an extended period can be challenging, but the staff here made my stay easier by consistently checking in and ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure.

Let's start with a quick one sentence overall description of this establishment (for the review readers who don't like to read a detailed review). "If you are in the area and need a place to stay, then look no further." The hotel itself is clean, cozy and very well maintained. So there's no need to get too detailed with that. What I mainly want to spend the majority of this review on is the staff. And it's because of them that makes this the go-to place when planning a stay in this area. Day to day operations seem to be mostly run by a group of women that all have superb customer relation skills. I travel for work so I'm staying here for about a month and it's definitely welcoming when you walk in the door after a long day to Shea greeting you with a smile and asking how your day was. Due to my crazy long work days, I didn't get to meet the manager Harley in person but when we spoke on the phone she was an absolute sweetheart and accommodating to the fullest. There are two other young ladies, that I know their names but it's escaping me right now (🤦), but they have been absolutely amazing as well. I'll wrap it up by saying I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place to stay.

The customer service at this hotel is top notch. The front desk employees are helpful and nice. The breakfasts both days were one of a kind thanks to Joyce. She is personable and willing to help anyone and everyone. We will come back to this Holiday Inn Express the next time we are in the area!
