Holiday Inn Express & Suites Longmont, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Longmont - 1355 Dry Creek Dr, USA

Its odd what will have me write a review. But the front desk staff was so outstanding, helpful, courteous, respectful and kind that it has motivated me to write this review. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, serves a good breakfast, good location. The price varied from day to day which is challenging but I was in a crisis situation and plans were changing daily. Room was clean and nice. Mattress felt worn out or was way too soft for our liking. King bed is nice for the room, but bed comfort didn't match my experience at other Express locations, which is the reason I try to stay exclusively at Express hotels since I had not had an uncomfortable bed until this location. Pool and hot tub are great and the slide on the pool was the star of the show for our kids (went down it probably 100 times each day we stayed here). Breakfast is good. It is simple, but consistent with other Express hotels and tasted good. Hotel was quiet, so that was a huge plus, which helped make the bed comfort less of an issue.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The first night we had an issue with our air conditioner and Shannon was on top of it. Also our room was located next to the pool and unfortunately it was loud. Shannon was very understanding and quickly moved us to another room. Both rooms were nice and very clean. The rooms have a modern touch with everything you could possibly need. The TV is on a wall mount that rotates to your liking. Parking was decent and well lit. The property was nice and well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly. I really appreciated Shannon the most. She was very nice and easy to talk to. She was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and a priority. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had booked this hotel for the end of our trip to Colorado. We live in Michigan. This one stuck out because it was around all of the places we wanted to visit on our trip and because it had, what seemed like a very nice pool for our kids to play. When we arrived, I walked in the room and was very disappointed. I thought for sure there was some sort of a view, we had a view of the water slide. The window ledge had a bunch of trash on. The room did not have any bath towels or wash cloths. We also had to ask for more pillows for our kids. The blankets and sheets they gave us for the pull out bed had holes. After exploring for the day, kids wanted to go to the pool. We all played for about an hour. My husband and I got out and both of us had itchy watery eyes and were sneezing. Called the kids out and we got back to the room and they started to not feel well. Coughing sneezing. Both ended up throwing up that night because of the pool. There was no other explanation other than the pool chlorine. They felt fine all week. We will not be going back to any holiday inn. Room was not welcoming at all.. very disappointed

I am disappointed in this location as I have stayed at other holiday inn Express & suites without issue. The hotel overall was clean but I had many issues with the room itself. We found a large dog toy behind the chair in the room, which isn't a big deal for me as I have dogs and honestly felt bad that a pup left without their toy but it indicates that housekeeping is not moving the chairs to clean under or behind it. We also had a broken USB port (was pushed into the socket and crooked) next to the bed. The bathroom shower knob seemed partially broken but functional, it would "click and skip" and not actually turn the water on or adjust the temperature unless it was continuously turned and would finally "catch". The outlets in the bathroom were also sunk in further than the cover so anything like a hair dryer was only half plugged in and would fall out/turn off due to connectivity issues. Furthermore, and I am not sure if this is a Colorado normality or not as it was my first time in this area, we found not 1, not 2, but 3 large spiders in the room during my 4 night stay which staff was unable to identify and did nothing to rectify but say they need to have the sprayers come out again. My friend had to take care of the situation as I have severe arachnophobia and was about to change hotels completely. From what I can gather at least one of them was a widow of some sort and was found on a towel!! The breakfast was fine although the scrambled eggs tasted like powder eggs. Outside the side exit by the bushes they also had many wasps which I am also allergic to and staff would be out by the door smoking and you had to walk pass them and their cigarettes to exit the door and get to your vehicle if you parked on the side. There are many other hotels around this location (literally across the street etc) that I would recommend checking out instead.

Fun place! The slide was a blast! Payton at the front desk was a sweetheart. She had just came on shift when we arrived. There was a mishap and she remedied it quickly and kindly. Great location, and nice rooms.

Worst Hotel eggs I've have ever had. They apparently didn't mix the powdered eggs corre tly or they were eggs at all. The had the texture of a sponge and almost choked trying to swallow the 1 bite I had. Went down like clay. Satilite tv couldn't change channels. The window in the room overlooked the indoor pool wall. The bed was comfortable so thank goodness for that. Checked out day early just to find another hotel with a better breakfast.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to Payton at the front desk for her outstanding professionalism and patience during our recent stay. Despite the challenges of having to move rooms twice due to unforeseen issues, Payton handled each situation with grace and efficiency. She ensured that we were comfortable and went above and beyond by assisting us in extending our stay for an additional two days. Her exceptional service truly made a difference in our experience.
