Holiday Inn Express & Suites Little Rock-West, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Little Rock - 4900 Talley Rd, USA

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pool is definitely not heated,to cold to enjoy and they served the worse breakfast I've ever had a hotel. Staying one more night but will definitely not be getting up early for breakfast.

It was quiet & clean. Breakfast was great with a wide variety & the pool was ready & empty at 9 am! We enjoyed our stay here very much even at the cost for our 2 bed room no complaints from us.

We stayed at this hotel last week, and found the lodging to be comfortable and the location to be convenient. However, the staff acts in a manner that shows contempt for the guests. In short, when I was checking out of the hotel I commented on the large number of "tax" line items on the bill. Upon further review of the bill (the next day), I found a charge that was clearly not related to a mandated tax. Rather, it was an unexplained amount described only as "service charge." I reached out to the hotel twice asking for an explanation as to why a "service charge" was added to my bill. The hotel never replied. I also submitted a concern through the hotel chain's own review system. Once again, there was no reply. This is an unacceptable way for a hotel to treat guests.

Hotel is not very clean, in the bathroom there was a coffee bean in the tissue compartment and something that looked like a booger under the mirror. The ice machine was filthy and a flee was in one of my frozen ice cubes. As we were going down to the ground floor on the back elevator, there was trash in back of the elevator visible as the elevator reached the ground floor. Okay place to visit if you don't mind filth.

Positive: Overall it's a very nice place to stay with a great cook to order breakfast Negative: I arrived after 4pm and my room was not ready. I had to sit in the lobby from 45mins which cause me to be late to my event.

Positive: Short distance from parking to my room. Negative: Took quite awhile and alot of driving to find hotel. A few more hot breakfast choices would have been nice.

We came to Little Rock to have a look around as we will be relocating there. We picked this hotel due to the pics and reviews. We stayed 3 nights here. |The room was nice. Bed comfy, plenty of pillows. We felt safe coming and going. |What made the stay so unsatisfactory was the breakfast. We usually love the free breakfast and I pick hotels based off that, so we don't have to run out the door first thing just to eat. But we sure did these 3 days. The same over microwaved turkey sausage patties and links every day. The pancake machine needed the belts cleaned so they shut it off. I tried to have oatmeal instead and it was so watered down and just gross that I can't imagine anyone ate it. Such a waste. We each had a banana and had early lunches every day. Also, do you not have hot chocolate packets for your guests? |I would pick a different HIE to stay at if you plan to count on breakfast as a meal. Your breakfast attendant was not personable at all. I work at a hotel and am the breakfast attendant. This may be why I am more irritated at this than some others would be, but, smile, welcome your guests, see if you can do anything for them... Also, when an item is out, refill it. Your guests appreciate the small things and will keep coming back.|End of rant...

Exceeded expectations. Clarence is a fine representative for your hotel and would make a great employee for any company. Highly recommend!
