Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kansas City-Liberty (Hwy 152), an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Kansas City - 8230 N Church Rd, USA

Standard hotel breakfast with sausage, potatoes, eggs, omelettes, biscuits, gravy and pancakes. Hot cinnamon rolls were a nice touch and welcomed surprise. Food was a little above average and all hot items were hot!

Rooms are nice and clean. Service is fine. Nothing to write home about. Breakfast is standard and good. Biggest issue is freeway noise at night. Not the worst, but you do hear it. If you just need a night sleep close to freeway, this is great.

I give this hotel 10/10. They accommodated my early check in and late checkout and all the staff was so nice and willing to help. The breakfast was a hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, omelettes, bacon, sausage pancakes and lots of tasty bakery items plus many more items to choose from. I traveled with my daughter and felt very safe and was very conveniently near food, gas, Starbucks. The hotel was very clean and my room the beds were so comfy. The best water pressure I have ever had in a shower it was so strong. Also plenty of parking. i have stayed in newer and nicer hotels with less accomodations and staff not as willing to help but the customer service here stood out and was so appreciative for the willingness to work with me. I would stay here again.

Location and Service was great! My family and I had a great time, but our room was covered with bed bugs and i wouldn't recommend this hotel until they fix the bed bug problem.

I have been an IHG member for 20 years and I stay at Holiday Inn almost exclusively for those years across the county. Most have been good, some below that benchmark, some above. The Holiday Inn, Liberty is a 10 of 10 . . . for these reasons. The hotel has been updated and everything in the room and the hotel are very nice, comfy bed, room to stretch out and laundry for those of us who are road warriors. This is all great – however, it always comes back to the people. Dawn, the GM is very professional. Jessica, who checked me in and helped me with some difficulties I had, not with the hotel but logistics for my business, and she provided the best service I have ever had at any IHG hotel. Jessica is remarkable and if you are fortunate to stay here, Jessica is there to solve all of your issues. Oh, BTW, I am booked next month for a second business trip as the location is close to good food and close to Hwy 35 and 435.

I arrive at the hotel after making a reservation, my company has an agreement with them and I am new to the company and don’t have a physical card yet. The front desk clerk was very rude and said I should call my boss, at 10 pm and get a card. Now I said can you call your boss, to which she replaced yes. She then called the company, of course they were close. I explained I don’t have a physical card but have the info from the card, nope… have to have the card. I said what odd, is I just spent a week in Texas and didn’t have any issue, I asked if she could call that hotel, nope. I didn’t live in Texas. She was no help at all. I won’t be staying at their properties.

Positive: Can't say as I wasn't allowed to stay as I had a pet. Negative: Even though this hotel was advertised as "pet friendly" on your site, I found out the hard way that this is NOT the case. We were out of a place to stay as well as our money. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Negative: ""

The positive is that there are many options to eat within .2 miles and a Wal-Mart to restock any travel needs. Room 216 shares the elevator nook—-so people literally stand in the nook outside your door while waiting for the elevator. Also there is a constant noise in the room that sounds like a cage of pigeons playing in a fountain. Ok for one night but I’d request a different room if here again.
