Holiday Inn Express and Suites - Junction City, Kansas - Hotel in Junction City - 221 E Ash St, USA

I stayed here twice within a week. Both times, the room was clean and quiet. The first room lacked a hair dryer, clock and bedside lighting. I told the clerk about it in the morning. Also, the fridge did not have a freezer compartment. I brought blue ice to keep my drinks cold during an 8-hour drive but I remedied not having a freezer by filling a bag with ice instead. The second time the room only lacked a clock. I guess that's no big deal since most folks use their cell phones but I like to glance at a clock if I wake up during the night, not having to pick up my phone. Breakfast was good with many choices, typical for this hotel. The second day, there was no coffee. The clerk said there was no hot water and that he tried to fix it during the night. I had to have my coffee, so I brewed two K-cups in the room, problem solved. I would also suggest that at this location they should not use the large coffee creamer bottles because the pump was clogged. There is an IHOP in walking distance and the location is very close to the I-64. One of the clerks I encountered there was Joshua. He was friendly and helpful.

We stay in a lot of Holiday Inn Express properties all over the US, usually with our dog. This is one of the nicest and cleanest dog friendly properties and was such a pleasant surprise given the average review score. Breakfast was great (much better than the average), bed was very comfortable, AC worked great and wasn’t smelly, and you can’t beat the price! The only negative was the dog fee wasn’t posted on the website and I couldn’t get through by phone or email to inquire. It turned out it was $25 which is low for Holiday Inn Express & Suites. All in all, highly recommend this one!

Nice typical Holiday Inn Express (clean, quiet, good condition, nice furnishings and linens, pleasant front desk staff, nice breakfast,etc) however the hotel was remodeled 1-2 years ago and there are several rooms with weird quirks such as missing lights next to the bed, missing floor lamps, broken desk chair, etc. The hotel is aware of these problems but for some reason they don’t fix them. Apparently it was remodeled incorrectly. Everything else about the hotel is totally fine so it’s a lovely place to stay!

Rooms: Rooms were clean and refreshing, and very spacious. Service: We had a late check in, and experienced a bit of a delay when checking in. Had to ring bell twice and wait about 5 mins before anyone came to us. Which, frankly, isn't that long, but at 11pm, when your daughter is exhausted and cranky, and everyone just wants to collapse into bed, 5 minutes seems like an eternity. However, once we got checked in, staff was super friendly, at breakfast, and the housekeepers. Location was perfect. I wish Holiday Inn would have more healthy food options for breakfast (les carbs and sugar and more veggies) and more gluten-free options, but there were boiled eggs, fruit, and some yogurt.

The awesome desk clerks, Dawn and Gabby, were funny and helpful. They helped find my rewards number. Our room was clean and large. The water temperature was interesting. It was lukewarm at best when we checked in and a bit warmer in the morning but never was hot. The water pressure was OK. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a large selection of items that were all good and hot.

Great breakfast! Loved that they had veggie omelets and turkey sausage. Love the dove soap. Everyone was very kind. Definitely would stay there again and recommend!

This is the second Hokiday Inn we stayed at this trip in the last few days. We choose Holiday Inn because we always know what to expect. They are reliable, clean, and offer so much more than most. We love the wonderful options of free breakfast they offer and laundry services, too. The rooms are spacious and always clean. I love the new black out edition curtains I am seeing I'm our rooms. This is great for people who have long road trips and need a peaceful rest. The hotel staff is a big part of what makes our stays here so great.

Their parking lot filled up our first night. Made it difficult to get to bed. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Only other complaint was the breakfast ran out ( hot foods) the first day so we were very limited in our selection.
