Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jenks, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Jenks - 150 Aquarium Dr, USA

I genuinely have concerns for this property and hope it improves otherwise it will lose its flag. Most of the staff were fine but more concerned with their phones than any guest need. There are no vending machines in the building so the only cooler is at the front desk. The cooler only held Diet Coke and a couple energy drinks but no bottled water or other options available. The pantry didn’t have adequate options either. The desk clerk said the truck hadn’t shown up. When I managed select service properties I would go get what was needed for guests and to be inline with IHG brand standards. This property is not doing so. The only bright side was the breakfast lady that was funny and interacted with my kids. She was clean organized and energetic. If there were 3 or 4 other employees there with her mentality the operation would run better.

Stayed here for my birthday. Was a nice view of the river at night. It's right next to the aquarium and they even give you a discount if you stay there. We got a king with a balcony, and it was so worth it. The balcony is very small. Screen doors on both were broken but usable! They do allow documented service animals. The room was clean bed wonderful room size was very large. The person at the front desk was so friendly at check-in, and the lady, when leaving, even gave us cookies!!

We took our granddaughter here overnight as a summer treat for her. The only 2 things she wanted to do was swim and have pancakes for breakfast. After checking in, we discovered that the pool was closed because of some problem and that the pancake machine was not working! We thought about checking out and going elsewhere , but we were just too tired at that point. This is a nice, clean hotel but please realize that it wasn't just a bed for us, it was the experience!

I LOVE this hotel. Although my couple of stays have been short ~ every detail about this place just keeps better. I’ve always booked on the go, they’ve always been able to accommodate, it’s a super painless process & the staff has been helpful & super friendly. Pricing is very reasonable. The rooms are simple but BEAUTIFUL in my opinion. I love the architecture & subtle details inside. It’s clean, comfortable & they give you all the options. Pillows are literally labeled for firm or soft🤗 big fan over here 👈🏼 . Had a chance to enjoy the complimentary breakfast last time ~ mind blown. Yes, it’s a hotel breakfast bar but the fact that they had egg white veggie omelets, low fat cream cheese + turkey sausage among other things made my tummy beyond happy and full. The location appears to be near plenty of things but also set far enough to the side that it’s chill. Close to the Oklahoma Aquarium & although I have not had a chance to get there myself, I really hope to some day! IHG of Jenks will ALWAYS be my hotel of choice if I’m in the area!

The service here is absolutely despicable. If I could give it negative stars I would. I had a terrible stay one night and as of then, have been trying to get a hold of management for a refund. Their voicemail boxes are always full, including the front desks. One time I called to discuss my issue and the front desk employee hung up on me!!! When I called back, he did not answer the phone and go figure the voicemail box was full. It has been 2 weeks since my stay there & noone has responded to my many messages, I even went to the hotel on 3 separate occasions and for some reason there is never a manager available. I left my name and number at the front desk numerous times and nobody has called me back with regards to my complaints! It’s totally unacceptable. My AC was broken and loud and kept me up the entire night. Tired and unhappy, I spoke to management about it, they told me I would have to speak to the regional manager for a refund. Well, I don’t know if a regional manager even exists. I was told her name is Andrea Well she should be ashamed of herself for not calling me back and addressing my concerns. Neither Andrea, nor the other managers, have returned any of my calls, despite my leaving numerous messages and even going to the hotel myself to speak with a manager twice. If you want to waste your money and get a terrible nights sleep, stay here. I’m ashamed to be an IHG member knowing that there’s a hotel this subpar within the group. You’ll get better service from a Motel 6 in my opinion. Shame on you Holiday Inn Jenks. Zero customer service here - none at all and the staff is clearly lazy as all get. I’ve stayed here many times in the past with no issue, however, I think that whomever is running the place now should be fired.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights. On the 2nd day, he asked housekeeping to go and clean and re stock with fresh towels. We came back and all of his personal belongings were gone. His shorts, charger, drinks in the fridge, food, etc. We talked to the young curly haired girl at the front desk, where she told us it was this hotels policy that they throw away everything in the fridge. I called and talked to management the next day and they couldn't recover any of the things, and proceeded to tell me there is absolutely nothing they can do. No kind of accommodations at all. This hotel made a mistake and thought we were checking out, so they threw away his belongings, and no compensation at all is so unbelievable and inconvenient. We found out that it is indeed NOT this hotels policy that they throw food and drinks in the fridge away (as housekeeping cleans and stocks). I'm still so upset by this.

We stayed at this hotel last night with my husbands and kids, and as we were trying to get settled in I started to check the bed and noticed SPIDERS all in the bed. The lamp had spider webs, the window seal had dead bugs, and the night stand had dead spiders. I went to the front desk receptionist to her know the unsanitary conditions my husbands room was, and she had the nerve to say “ well you’re not paying for it” making it seem that it is okay to have us SLEEP in a room raided with bugs and spiders and that we can’t complain just because it was paid for by my husband’s company. We are human… nobody deserves to stay in conditions like that whether it was paid for by someone else or not ESPECIALLY with my 2 kids. This is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.

Reserved a room with river view, didn't get it. The pool is murky, website says spa, there isn't one, it's been concreted in. I requested to speak with a manager, was told they were not on site but will be back and will call me. I never received a phone call. I will not stay at another Holiday Inn Express and Suites.
