Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jasper, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Jasper - 501 W Gibson St, USA

We stayed two nights while visiting family in the area. They had a room large enough to accommodate us all. Spotless rooms and facilities with an accommodating and friendly staff made it even better. Had breakfast both mornings and was very satisfied with the quality of the meal.

Excellent because all went as it should. Room was clean and we even got service each day. That’s unusual at most hotels today. ||Breakfast was good and plentiful. There was a selection of hot and cold options. ||And went as it should so there was little need for help from the staff.

Just wanted to give a warning to other families with small children so you aren’t blind sighted the way we were. We arrived here at 6:30pm the day before Thanksgiving after being on the road for 5 hours. Got our stuff and kids settled in our room which was on the second floor. Our kids were running around and we got a call from the front desk from Connie asking us if we could ask the children to settle down. Fair enough. We told the older two (8 & 5) to settle down and sat them down to eat. At that point, our 18 month old was the only one running around, because he’s a baby and he doesn’t understand “no running”. We then got a call from Connie very rudely telling us that if she got another complaint that she was going to have to kick us out of the hotel. This was 7:30pm when she threatened to kick us out. We had been there for an hour. We then spent the rest of the evening holding our crying 18 month old who just wanted to move around because we had no where else to go if we got kicked out. We did call the corporate offices and filed a complaint with them as well. But as a family that has 3 small children, I hated that we didn’t have the ability to relax in a room that we paid for. What was most frustrating was that the complaints came from workers that were resting up for the night shift there. It wasn’t complaints from other guests. I’m generally not one to leave bad reviews. But this experience was so stressful and I would hate for another family to experience the same thing that we did.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on a fire assignment. Staff was friendly and handled any issues I had. Breakfast was good, I mostly had oatmeal. The rooms were clean and they have MAD TV channels too. I had a good stay and I'm sure I'll be back again.

Great hotel. Very nice and clean. Nice staff. Good location right across the street from a super Walmart if u need something. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! I'll definitely be staying here again in the future and definitely recommend this place. Great stay for the price!

Have been coming to this hotel since it was constructed. At first not a fan but the last several years have been a remarkable change. Better staff, service, rooms updated and mattresses. I come down for work but I throughly enjoy my stay.

This survey has taken too long, and will probably mean that I will not fill it out again on my next stay. My stay was good. The people who worked at the hotel we’re good, but the survey does not fall into the good category for me.

Extremely friendly staff! Everyone made a point of greeting us. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was much better than I expected. The pool was beautiful to just sit and relax around. Great stay and highly recommend this property!
