Holiday Inn Express & Suites I-26 & US 29 at Westgate Mall, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Spartanburg - 895 Spartan Blvd, USA

My room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were perfect. It was a nice hotel and my stay was awesome. I did have to wiped down the bath tub wall. It had visible soap on it. I would have done so regardless if clean or not. That didn’t take away from my experience. I would stay there again. The breakfast was just ok but that didn’t take away from my experience either.

A pretty nice Holiday Inn Express with a really nice pool, okay gym room, and fairly decent Continental breakfast and an attentive attendant. Everything, including the grounds, were clean, neat, orderly and tidy. Staff was helpful and friendly. This is a place that is just a little bit off the main highway, but it convenient enough to be popular with some of the better grade & finer contractors, such as the railroad crew which had a number of trucks, along with several other contractors and rigs. As a result, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to find a parking spot, especially if you arrive after 6 pm or so (when contractors quit for the day) due to numerous long trucks taking up a number of spaces. I really think it would benefit this business if they were to put in some 'bus' type parking spaces for the big rigs so that the hotel can accommodate the number of visitors they get who are just driving cars and arrive later at night. We ended up having to park way out in left field, so to speak, and it took about 8 minutes of driving around to find it. No big deal - I'm used to walking - but it would have been a bit of hell if I'd had to carry in all our bags - a long trip for a disabled old man, but as an old Marine, I'm used to that kind of stuff. At any rate, an excellent stay, a pretty fair breakfast for what it is (hot sausage, pancakes, good cereal, bananas, and excellent Chobani yogurt selection, plus more) and yes - my wife & I would stay there (here?) again any time. :-D

This is rated as just a two-star hotel, but it's better than a second Holiday Inn Express and Suites in town. The room was comfy, bed just the right firmness, staff attentive and pleasant, and the breakfast tasty if not overflowing with options. Nothing else remarkable, but all was well.||Suggest you bring a blanket from home if you have room, as IHG blankets are more like thin bedspreads than anything with warmth. If a first-floor room is not available (we prefer these because we carry lots of stuff), we suggest getting a top-floor room near the elevator. Top floor so as to miss any guest rooms full of antsy and/or crying children — or a traveling troop of clog dancers — who might pick the room above you. Can't happen if there IS no room above you. The elevators will get you to Floor 5 almost as fast as they go to 2, 3, and 4.

i found all the facilities during my stay fantastic. the pool was quiet as was the overall feel of the hotel. Breakfast was always hot and if items got low more were added. couldn't fault the house keeping, rooms were always cleaned well. plenty of car parking . enjoyed my stay at this Hiliday Inn and would definetly stay here again if in the area

My thoughts on my stay were my opinion. I have stayed at over countless hotels for work and this one by far was grade A. It was quiet and comfortable with a great variety of breakfast options in the morning. The area had many options for dinner as well. The rooms were clean and very organized. They provided dove soap for hair and body wash along with clean linens. The tv had many options to choose from sports to movies to news. If traveling in this area I would highly recommend to stay here.

Booked the room online couple of days prior to checking in on New Year’s Day. We arrived at 5 am in the morning and as a IHG gold elite member I specifically requested extended check out at the front desk with the associate. Upon checking into the room we immediately put up the privacy sign and went straight to sleep. 2 hours later at 7 am we had housekeeping without knocking try to break into our room! Another few hours later they did that again! Finally on the 3rd time my wife told the housekeeping that we are still resting and that we have extended check out and the privacy sign is up for a reason and they stopped trying to break in! Thank God for the door latch lock. Terrible experience!

Room was great! Very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We would highly recommend this hotel to others. We have friends in this area and visit a couple times each year. We will never stay anywhere else but at this hotel. Employee Nicole was the BEST!

We stopped on our way to Beaufort SC. We arrived late for a check-in. We did not use any of the amenities. The room was very clean and the air condition was running when we arrived. That was very nice because we did not have to wait for the room to cool off before we could go to sleep. The mattress was very soft and comfortable. The next morning , we had the complimentary breakfast. It was very good.
