Holiday Inn Express & Suites Harrison, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Harrison - 117 AR-43, USA

One of the best hotel experiences in the past 2 years. Very clean, nice black out window covering, long breakfast hours and very nice pool. Best part about the pool is it wasn’t over chlorinated or hot and humid in the pool room. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot foods and some grab and go food (fruit, oatmeal, muffins, bagels). All staff we interacted with were very friendly and seemed to be happy to be here working.

Positive: All the workers were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The sheets were wonderful! Negative: Housekeeping did not clean our room one day, even though we told them when our room would be available. We were booked for 5 nights.

Everything about this stay was 5-star but Angie at the front desk went above and beyond. After a crazy hectic week I got to the hotel late in the evening and realized I had brought the wrong set of teaching notes for a class I was teaching the next day. When asking about printing them (70 pages) at their business center she said they had been having trouble with it, and they were low on paper. By the time I came back down with my flash drive she had gone next door to another hotel and borrowed paper and she said if the printer didn't work she would print them at the front desk. Luckily the business center worked perfectly and I was all set for the next day. On top of great customer service, the entire hotel smelled clean and inviting, the room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, at the breakfast was hot and delicious. This is definitely my go-to hotel in Harrison!

Positive: The hotel is conveniently located and was very clean. Negative: There?s no hot tub like the description said, the juice and water machine was out of order during breakfast with no substitutes or even pitchers or jugs of juices offered, and the ?business center? was down again and wouldn?t connect to the internet.

Positive: The staff were wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us out with their business center when we had an issue. Negative: The hot tub was filled in.

Pool was cold. Shower was hot. Room 402 Toilet haunted. Pink stain on carpet and mysterious white spots in stairwell. Awesome place to stay?

My family and I were traveling through Harrison late and needed a place for the night. We were able to get a room for a walk in and it seemed quite clean initially. As we started to get ready for sleep we removed the cover to find a broken crack(?) pipe under the cover. The front desk staff seemed aware of who was last in the room and though apologetic of my experience, didn't seem that surprised honestly after they realized the previous tenant. If the cleaning staff could miss broken drug paraphernalia just below the pillow area on a made bed, it doesn't say a lot for the routine cleaning of their rooms. I'd stay away from this hotel.

Positive: Updated rooms and very friendly employees. Negative: Had some flies in the room but we were at the end of the hall and it is summertime in Arkansas.
