Holiday Inn Express & Suites Harrington, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Harrington - 17271 S Dupont Hwy, USA

The hotel was simply easy. From check-in to check-out, the easiest and most relaxed hotel my family and I have been to. The staff were polite and accommodating. The suite was very spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was pleasant and fresh. The price was very affordable for the room in comparison to other hotels that would charge much more. I would return here again without a doubt.

The rooms were clean. We arrived early & were able to check in early (for a $50 "early check-in fee). But it was worth it after being on the road for over 6 hours. Front-end staff, friendly, warm, & inviting. Good selection for Continental Breakfast.

This the first time we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. It won’t be the last. The staff was friendly and quickly filled any requests we had. Our room, including the bathroom, was exceptionally clean. The towels were thick and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the fact the the refrigerator in our room had an actual freezer in it. The complementary breakfast was the best that we have ever had at a hotel. There was a nice selection of hot foods each morning in addition to the regular offerings of yogurt, cereal, fruit, toast, bagels, and hot cinnamon rolls. We’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Harrington, DE area.

From front desk staff to housekeeping the experience was great. The bathroom were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The wifi worked well and was easy to access. The morning checkout was easy. The breakfast was a great variety of foods. Great experience would stay again!

So we stayed here last year, I still see my review. It’s definitely 5 stars this time. Came in around 7:30pm. The guy at the desk super friendly. He asked what floor I would prefer I said does not matter to me. Just my husband booked and realized it was 1 bed and it’s my son and I. He looked it up and said well you are Diamond. My son and I thought we were going to get the room last year which was 1 bed and pullout. Well we were wrong huge room 2 beds and a pullout. Hotel is very clean.

Everything we needed for two nights of comfort and relaxation. Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff. It was the perfect location for our various day trips in the Dover area. Breakfast was good. Lobby and other public areas gave a great first impression; very welcoming and clean.

Positive: Breakfast was great. Good selection, staff who served it was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice but small. Negative: Staff who checked us in on Friday the 18th was very unfriendly. I was not told about the 20 dollar a night charge for cot, for a room that was already --- dollars a night, that was absurd. Our shower was broken so we had to move rooms at 1130 at night.

THE Hotel is 11 miles from where I work and is necessary for my job. The staff all know me by 1st name and treat me with kindness and take care of what I need. Many times I am travelling from long distance and may come in a little early they always prioritize my visit and take care of my needs. The breakfast is good and the staff is always on top of what it takes to be successful.
