Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hardeeville-Hilton Head, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Hardeeville - 145 Independence Blvd, USA

Perfect stay. In all aspects. The front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. I like to stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels cause they look new and are extremely clean hotels and this one didn’t disappoint. The rooms were spotless clean and super cold. The beds comfortable with extremely white linen, 4 pillows and plenty of towels. The breakfast was SUPERB. My favorite was the cheese omelettes and pancakes. Also very affordable.

We reserved a room the week before, and when we checked in, we were told there wasn't any hot water in the hotel. They immediately offered us a discount. We couldn't have been treated any better! The ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless! The bedding was freshly washed and pristine! I have really sensitive skin and was pleasantly surprised by the Dove products that were in our bathroom! I didn't even have to unpack my toiletries! As someone with Digestionional issues, I was also pleasantly surprised by the incredibly delicious breakfast with lots of options, even with turkey sausage and turkey bacon! We will be coming back!

It takes a lot for me to write a review. This hotel was located in a beautiful area an hour from the beach. It had an amazing hot breakfast that didn't taste like cheap ingredients. And it is the first hotel I've ever stayed that provided Gluten/Dairy free breakfast items including Uddi's muffins and bagels! And if you couldn't stay for breakfast, they had to-go bags to pack and take food with you.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Not enough luggage carts. Hot water was not working. Front desk person didn’t seem to care but eventually relented. The other guests were also quite rude - smoking at the main entrance, not minding their own business, and being very loud after 11 pm. Room walls/doors were paper thin. Phone in room wasn’t working. Don’t recommend this hotel.

You walk in the door your just wanting to rest relax in your room then you say i am going to take a nice hot shower, then you turn on the water and you wait five minutes and more NO HOT WATER. Now the clerk has already rented you the room knowing this, but they are just doing their job, wow Holiday Inn one of the top in the Hotel world how sad you can not fix ASAP this issue so not right. You should be out fixing maybe the number one thing people look forward when traveling. Should have told guest of issue offered the stay at large discount or they could choose a different place.

Rooms was nice big size, cleaning was ok, noise level could be better you can hear everyone in halls when going to room either taking showers, listening to conversations once in room can hear doors slam from outside easily. Breakfast was good.

great place and folks. a great thing the door will stay open while you unload your luggage never had that great luxury. the girls are all nice and kind. breakfast good too nice clean hotel maids nice too thx the all 5 star. lee browning bluffton sc💕💕

Where do I even begin with this house of horrors but mainly HORRIBLE GUESTS… arrived just after 9 pm after a long day of driving with 3 little kids. Upon checking in, learned that there were no luggage carts available, and the hot water had not been working all day and was not fixed/may not be available during our night’s stay. We were incredibly disappointed as we needed to get our kids bathed and into bed ahead of our 12-hr drive the next day, and we had experienced the same issue the previous night elsewhere where we had no hot water to bathe our kids (amidst >90 deg days). The solo person at the front desk was swamped with other guests, leaving us admittedly very frustrated with the whole situation and unsure what to do so late at night. Meanwhile, other incredibly rude, ignorant, and intrusive guests were audibly passing their obtuse judgments on our personal situation as if they knew ANYthing about us, mocking and belittling us in the lobby (spinelessly not even saying it directly to our faces but loudly spewing their crass comments about us with our children right there) while I stood there just wanting to break down. Later when we finally started heading to our room, we continued to encounter the most horrible guests who kept snickering at us when they saw us, feeling entitled to heckle us as we were simply trying to get into our room all the way on the top floor, where people were running up and down the hallway screaming at 10:30+ pm. We continued to endure a long night of continuous noise from the neighboring room through the paper thin walls, where kids (and adults) were screaming and shouting gleefully. The phone in our room also wasn’t even functional for us to be able to call the front desk for help (!!) Had to go down in person to inform the front desk about the noise. While I sincerely appreciate the front desk employee in the ways they tried to assist us, the vast majority of guests we encountered were nothing short of terrible human beings who should be ashamed of themselves for being so vile to a young family. We also kept encountering chain smokers seated just outside the main entrance of the building as we were bringing our things in, which was just the cherry on top (thanks for all the carcinogenic second-hand smoke). Oh, and the room’s wall AC unit was insanely loud (like nonstop vibrations to the eardrum, as though we were sleeping in a mechanical utility room). This was just a really bad experience all around, in large part to the terrible guests we were surrounded by. Wish this hotel didn’t attract so many unpleasant people.
