Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hamburg - Hotel in Hamburg - 3565 Commerce Pl, USA

My husband and I were stranded in Hamburg, NY, due to car problems. The hotel staff was wonderful - Dan, Hailey and Bailey. Our rate was the lowest possible - even though it was a last minute reservation. We were given the latest check out possible since we weren't sure when the repairs on our car would be completed. The room and bathroom were spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The hallways were clean and quiet. Holiday Inn Express has always been our first choice of hotels when we travel and this location definitely topped the charts. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was very nice - large and clean with a good shower. Better than expected for similar tier hotels. Check in was fast and easy, and breakfast was as expected. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi were nice. Very quiet even on Friday night. We would stay again if we are in the area.

Our stay was clean and comfortable and wonderful. We loved the pool. The bathroom was very modern and clean. I would rate this hotel a 10! Towels were plentiful at the pool. Our kids just loved our stay. We felt safe and clean and comfortable there and we would definitely go back to stay again. We absolutely loved the staff. They were helpful in so many many ways. We loved it

Room was big and bright due to 2 large windows. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom needs drains repaired but had everything needed. Didn’t care for door security lock broken that was known by front desk. Rugs could have been cleaned. Front desk people very helpful and friendly. Lots of positives

Rooms not bad, over night shift person needs to understand what it means to host people. If he doesn't want to work with people he needs to get a different job. The second shift gentleman could teach the overnight guy a ton about quest service. Breakfast is a TON better than Denny's though.

We were running out of energy from a long drive and decided based on reviews just to catch some z's here before rambling on. Arrived pretty late at night and the location felt kind of abandoned and creepy. Then we get inside and the person who helped us seemed severely put out by having a guest. He maybe said ten words the entire check-in process, just demanded my ID, shoved papers to sign and keycards toward me then went back to eating and watching TV. I'd hate to see how ineffective he might be if there was any kind of issue. Aside from the nighttime vibe, our stay was fine. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The pancake machine was broken at breakfast time (seems like it may just be there for decoration? staff didn't seem very apologetic when saying it didn't work). My kid was disappointed about that, but found other stuff to eat. All in all, it served its purpose. I'd recommend it for a quick, no-frills overnight stay, but would not stay for a longer one.

This hotel was very easy to find off the NYS Thruway. We were greeted with a smile and the receptionist had our paperwork ready to fill out. When we entered our room the temperature was just as we like it and the bed and couch were both neat and clean. The bathroom was also clean and there were plenty of towels.

Do you love hearing doors slam loudly, floors and walls so thin that your whole room shakes when the person above you walks, and loud trucks going by every 90 seconds on tbe highway right outside your window (despite specifically asking for a quiet room)? Then you will LOVE this place! Barely slept, horrible construction, don't recommend to anyone.
