Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gunnison, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Gunnison - 910 E Tomichi Ave, USA

Our room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was perfect, there was little to no external noise, and we loved the location. The front desk (man and two women) were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, except for the eggs, and I just don't like powdered eggs...so not bad for that. We really enjoyed our stay and felt the location was a perfect in between spot for the two scenic byways that we toured.

Overall great experience, breakfast was good but needs low carb and diabetes options. Shuttle seems mandatory in a to like this and the hotel needs to meet customers needs at a level expected from a great chain as this. Having to rent exorbitantly high rental car for 6 miles total whilst a great chain like this has a shuttle, in just unprofessional.

Had reservation for 1 night but decided to stay 2 nights. First day went to the South Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Due to the construction on Hwy 50 past Gunnison to Montrose, CO. (up to 1 hour wait at construction),canceled our hotel in Montrose to take detour Hwy 92 to the North Rim of the Canyon. Back to the hotel, quiet area and the rooms are like new, very clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great also with a wide variety of items to choose from. Breakfast is from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Daily Housekeeping. 107 rooms total Plenty of parking for all kinds of vehicles. Loved the Dove bath products in the bathroom. Staff gives you a friendly Welcome, recognizes club members and very helpful if needed. Would recomment staying here. Worth the money too.

The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. I will DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again if I am in that area again!

Clean new hotel. Rooms are very spacious and plenty of outlets for charging. Free breakfast. Nice blackout curtains. Evening staff very friendly and suggested good dinning options.

Positive: We stay here every time we visit our don at college! The location is the best, at the bottom of the campus!! Negative: The breakfast needs some improvements, more healthy options like fresh fruit and variety on options

Greeted w/welcome smile in large foyer, room spacious, bed & bath comfy. Hot tub was just the right temp for our end of day hike. Breakfast provided was more than adequate as it had Greek yogurt and fresh fruit for me!

I arrived without a reservation in desperate need of sleep after driving for several hours without much sleep. As a solo traveler my trip this far had been a nightmare, but I was greeted at 3:30 in the morning by the smiling and empathetic Cayla, who worked absolute magic and found me the only available room. She even made sure to get me a discount so that I could afford it on my tight budget. From then on, my entire trip started to turn around. Cayla ensured that Imelda, the morning receptionist knew my situation and Imelda carried on taking amazing care of me for the duration of my stay. Every single staff member I encountered, from housekeeping, to the engineering staff, greeted me with smiles and a listening ear should I need it; I truly felt that I was part of the family. A company that retains such attentive staff who seem so passionate about giving guests such great experiences is truly one that I would pay to continue staying with. I will certainly be looking to stay with holiday inn again on future travels and I know exactly who I’m recommending to friends and family when traveling—especially if they’re heading towards gunnison.
