The overall experience was great. This hotel was recommended by a family member as being the best place to stay. I enjoyed the Kureg coffee maker in the room. The stocking of Dove products was awesome since that is the brand of products I use at home. I thought that was awesome. I like that there were a good amount of towels and washcloths in the room. Everything regarding the room and location was great. The price was a bit much for a 2 night stay but I felt comfortable and safe.
The room was clean and spacious. I love that it had a fridge and microwave because I pack food when I travel. I was disappointed in the selections on the TV (only local channels), but not the worst thing. The gym was nice and actually had weights and cardio machines because I also like to exercise when I travel. I do prefer not to walk through staff smoking at the entrance to enter the hotel, but otherwise, no complaints.
A mixed experience - definitely some great and some pretty disappointing. The best parts for us were: 1) Nice breakfast. 2) Very clean room and hotel. 3) Reasonable fitness room for a hotel this size. 4) Many of the staff very helpful and friendly. 5) Beds were comfortable, and we had a suite with plenty of room.||The disappointing things were: 1) While the kitchen had a nice frig and decent microwave and a Keurig, there were no kitchenware items at all. Also, no paper towels, no dish towels, no dish soap, and no waste basket. Also, lighting in the kitchen was terrible. We chose this hotel specifically because we wanted a kitchen but we could not cook anything since all the cabinets had nothing in them. 2) There were a few items that did not work well - microwave door was loose and nearly fell off, a couple of the doors in the room did not stay closed - like the one between the bedroom and the living room. That was a problem since we got the suite because one of us is an early to bed person, and the other is a late riser in the morning. ||So, not horrible, but in our 2 days there, definitely could be better. Expected better from HIX.
The experience was a great one. The room was excellent. My problem was the wild group of children that were allowed to run the hallway a floor above us. They sounded like a herd of elephants. Got up one morning in, and they were in the elevator about 8 little ones pressing every button. It was totally ridiculous and very loud. Walls were thin because you hear these kids running around making all this unnecessary noise. The hotel itself was beyond my expectations and had quality products from Dove (handwash, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner) dispensers. If you forgot anything of that nature, you were covered. It's better than those little bottles that most hotels provide. The bed was great, especially for 2 people with bad backs. The pillows were nice, big, and fluffy. The price was very high, a 2 night stay. I read reviews for other places, but I still decided to stay here. It was in a convenient location and I felt safe in the area I was in. I would stay again minus the very loud and large group of kids.
The room was amazing, it was very clean, stylish, comfy. The bed was not as soft as one would expect but overall the whole room and amenities were excellent ! Loved that there was a pool and exercise room. The breakfast was probably my favorite. We poured the sausage gravey all over the jumbo cinnamon buns... topped off with the best bacon. Absolutely recommend this establishment!!
I travel for business several times a month. This hotel was fine overall. Certainly not the best I have stayed at, but neither was it the worst. The room, though a bit dated, was clean. Just as I was dozing off to sleep the fire alarms went off. Blaring alarms and flashing lights. Very disorienting... made me nauseous. I was on the first floor with a balcony, and did not smell smoke, so I waited it out. No explanation for the alarms. My complaint was mostly the rudeness of the front desk when I called the day before and the morning of my stay to see if there was any chance of an early check in. The response was abrupt and rude. On another note, as far as the free breakfast buffet goes, it was no different in the options offered from any other free breakfast buffet, but what they offered was fresh...so there is that.
Our family had a comfortable night’s stay here during a road trip. We booked a double queen with sofa bed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable in the hotel while my family explored the caves. We all slept well in the comfy beds in the spacious room. Breakfast was great, with ample options for everyone. My husband enjoyed the shower (he has high standards), as did the rest of us. Good restaurants and shops are in the area. We hope to return during the next trip!
We stayed here for a wedding. Check in was easy the front staff was friendly. The room was big The beds were comfortable. The floor was quiet. I wanted late check out my request was met. Breakfast was good there was a lot of different options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Also there is a lot of food option around the hotel

Came here on a whim but I'm very glad I tried it out! With fast, friendly, and attentive staff, the only negative I have about the atmosphere was that my table was a bit dimly lit. I was seated very quickly, and within just a few minutes, I already h
