Very clean! First hotel since Covid that i stayed in that i didn't have to beg someone for new towels. Room service never came too early waking me up, but they asked if we needed anything daily. Dove soaps. Typical breakfast. Black out curtains. The a/c wasn't too noisy like I've experienced in other hotels. The room was very well kept & cleaned spotless. The only bad thing i have to say about my experience was the bed was too firm FOR ME, but that is personal preference (i was 30wks pregnant already extremely sore ). My son didn't think the pull out was very comfortable but it worked. The hotel added a great experience to our trip to watch the Total Solar Eclipse.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and we had such a great stay, Until it was time to check out, while we were getting the cart we ran into a one of the hotels representatives along another women with a dog without a leash both giggling in the elevator the dog growled but we didnt pay much attention. When we were checking out the same dog charged at me and my kids. It came running out of a meeting room next to the breakfast area where the manager had just walked out of. The manager working July 17, at 10:30 said she would handle it. But she should've handled it when she was coming from the 3rd floor with the "guest" who had the unleashed dog. The manager repeatedly said it was a service dog but the dog didn't have a tag or a vest. This is the first time we've had such a horrific incident my girls were terrified. My husband is an active duty member and travels alot so he stayes in numerous IHG hotels through out the year. By far this was a very traumatic experience for my kids who love to travel with their dad any chance they get. The management should make sure everyone is made to follow the rules and not discriminate. Furthermore read your Pet Policy dogs must always be on a leash when leaving the room. But I guess since the manager was hanging out with the "guest" it makes it okay. There's no excuse for this kind of behavior from the "guest" much less from a Manager or so she claimed to be.

I really enjoy this hotel. The staff has always been accommodating and friendly. This is definitely my preferred hotel in Gatesville. Their complimentary breakfast is fantastic and the rooms are always kept very nice.

We booked with Hotwire, traveling through for a family event and stayed one night. Check in was easy, the front desk manager was friendly. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it’s just what you need passing through. The room was clean and the mattress was comfy. Take ear plugs because the walls are a little thin and we could hear the people talking next to us all night. Breakfast was good as far as free hotel breakfasts go. The egg white veggie omelet was just what I wanted and there was fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, waffles, pastries and many beverage choices. It was just what we needed for the night.

It's too far from my venue in Copperas Cove; not their fault, though. I didn't realize when I booked. The pool was full of trash. Had to clean it myself. We left and went to Holiday Inn in Kileen. Lower price and better hotel.

The location is good, depending on which way you come Into town. Overall good location. Check-In was easy, rooms were clean. The only issue the shower is SLICK!!!!!! No anti-slip stickers at all.

Honestly, the best thing about Holiday Inn Express is the breakfast. Yes, the rooms are neat, clean, and enjoyable to stay in. The staff here was very friendly. But I LOVE their breakfast. Just sayin'.

Fantastic service the computers were malfunctioning in the hotel. Employee was able to still get us a room. Very thankful for the great quality of service and great breakfast
