Replay enjoyed this hotel. The GM, Terri, was very helpful and kind. She takes great pride in the facility and hospitality. The hotel was very clean, smelled fresh. Breakfast was good. Nice workout room and pool. Love the parking garage, especially when raining and hot temps. We have stayed here before and plan to return when in the area.

We stayed here for nearly 3 weeks. It was clean, conveniently located to the hospital and eventually, hospice that my mother-in-law was admitted. The rooms were comfortable and the thermometer was accessible for adjusting to our liking. We live in Alaska, and this was a much needed option during the high 90s temps and humidity. My husband and I enjoyed the very comfortable king bed mattress and linens. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower and was well lit. There was an ample supple of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and even body lotion. We didn't use the coffee maker as coffee was available and offered during breakfast each morning. We did stock up the mini fridge with bottled water and left-overs. The microwave was useful for reheating any left-overs we had. As for the breakfast, it was not just a danish and coffee, but a full selection of breads, some sweet rolls, bisquits and gravy, some kind of eggs, bacon or sausage, sometimes potatoes/pancakes or french toast. There were a variety of juices, yogurt, and more! We only used the fitness room a few times and it was a nice option. I did not use the pool but saw a number of people who seemed to enjoy it. Parking is plenty out front and in the underground garage. I appreciated how many businesses were nearby: restaurants, a grocery store, gas station, nail salon and other businesses like UPS, pet groomers, vet, etc. I felt very safe during our time there at the hotel and the surroundings. Finally, the staff were great. Much kudos for their consistent upkeep of the hotel, our rooms, and friendly hospitality. Terri , the general manager, became a friendly face I looked forward to seeing often. She especially made our stay feel like home away from home with her caring personality. I highly recommend this gem of a place when you need a home away from home in Franklin.

My husband and I stayed here for a conference, and we are happy that we did! We decided to drive to the conference instead of flying, so we made a trip of it. We were 20 minutes away from the hotel when I realized that I missed a call from them advising an issue with my card. I have a specific card I use to make hotel reservations and will use a different one upon check-in. I was grateful that they called instead of just canceling the reservation because the hotel was booked solid. I called them back and confirmed that we would be there in 20 minutes. We arrived and noticed that there was limited parking in front of the hotel, but there was additional parking in an attached underground garage. There is direct access to the hotel from the garage. The forecast called for rain, so we planned to park in the garage to avoid getting wet. Fortunately, the weather was good, and we were able to find a space in the parking lot during our stay. When we walked through the doors, we were warmly greeted with smiles by two women at the front desk. They were so easy to chat and laugh with. We checked into our room, and it was a great one. Even though the hotel was booked, we didn't hear anyone else during our stay. The shower had strong water pressure, which my husband loved. The beds were nice, soft, and comfortable, so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning had an okay variety, but it was convenient. The staff was very attentive and were always smiling. I'll tell you - it makes a huge difference when a business has a personable manager. I had an issue that isn't worth repeating here because Teri (the hotel manager) took care of it. She is absolutely a gem. What I didn't know is that she was one of the women who greeted us when we came in the door and checked us in. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This location was new to us, as we aren't in that specific area often. But it is very close to places we needed to get to on this trip. The only difficulty was on arrival when the mapping app told us to turn before the actual entrance... but we got worked back, and mile or two around the back way, and no problems once we understood exactly where the entrance was. The is street level parking in front of the hotel, and additional parking in an underground garage (decently lit, but not overly so). We were encouraged to park in the garage to avoid heat build up in the vehicle. Clearance isn't as high as some garages (6'8" I believe) but it was sufficient for us and our driver is comfortable moving vehicles around tight places, and we had no trouble there. The elevator goes down to the garage so everything can be carted up easily as well. The property is fenced, but warnings still posted regarding valuables in cars. And they seem to have cameras covering the property for security. Pool is outside the building. Not huge, but sufficient for relaxing, and that keeps the chemicals and humidity out of the main building (which I very much appreciate). We had a room with a king bed and extra floor space, and we were very happy with it. Very clean! Bedroom is separated from coffee, microwave, fridge area... which stands between the bedroom and the bathroom. Bathroom had a full sized walk in shower (very nice) and a decent size space for the sink, etc al. Loved the mattress & bedding! Best sleep I've had in a hotel... maybe ever. Great choices by whoever handles the purchasing! The breakfast was less than great, but we're a bit pickier than most. The juices were good... the yogurt was not (we live where the dairy options are very good). Oatmeal was okay, if there was left. Eggs were tasteless, and my guess is that they came from a carton - had I found the salt and pepper sooner that would have helped. Sausage was fine. There were several cold cereal options, biscuits & gravy, cinnamon rolls, Sliced breads & bagels to toast with butter, cream cheese, jam, and peanut butter in individual containers... very quick and easy. And a larger coffee/tea station in the main room with seating area. (For people who need more than carbs for breakfast it might be frustrating, but I imagine this isn't a problem for everyone.) While breakfast was a little disappointing for us, that isn't a big deal either. We were very comfortable, were pleased with the cleanliness, and got great sleep. Franklin is a lovely area, this hotel is no exception... and sits inside a beautiful section of the town.

Everything was excellent especially the breakfast but the laundromat was below average. You can't even put more than three pieces of clothing in the wash because it doesn't add enough water to the washer.

We came in exhausted & Megan was so helpful in accommodating our need for a room. We usually looked for a Hampton Inn but saw this hotel & stopped~~so clean, quiet, modern & totally comfortable~~breakfast, too! We will be staying at Hol Inn Express hotels & this one in the future! All excellent!!! TY!!!

Living in a 200 year old farm house can be pretty amazing until the main water line from the well pump breaks and you discover water pouring out of a stone wall in the basement. This is what happened to my family and I. Once everything was taken care of, we figured we couldn't live in a house without water. We called the Holiday Inn Express hoping they would have rooms and be able to accommodate us. I spoke with Victoria who was very empathetic and gave us a neighbor rate as we were local. They were able to book us in a larger room so both my kids didn't need to share a bed. Upon arrival, the manager checked us in, said they had been waiting for us and were glad they could help. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and noise from neighbors both above and next to us was a minimum. The pool is small, but enjoyable, and we were able to swim that evening. The breakfast both mornings had most of the same pastries, cereals, and oatmeal. Both mornings had biscuits and gravy and sausage links. One morning had pancakes and premade cheese omelets while the other morning had pancakes and scrambled eggs Both mornings also had small and large cinnamon rolls. The food was fine but not the best nor was it the worst. Every staff member I met was nice, courteous, and professional. The fitness center is small but has two treadmills, a bike, and an elliptical. It also has dumbbells going up to 50lbs as well as an adjustable bench. While I only used it for stretching, it would be fine to get a good sweat in while traveling. All in all, the location is wonderful being about a quarter mile from a grocery store (Publix). There are lots of decent food options, it's close to the interstate and the Williamson County Ag Center. You can be in Franklin within 15 minutes, Cool Springs in about 10, and downtown within 30 (If you're lucky with traffic). If we are ever in a bind again or just need to escape, we will definitely be coming back here.

Pros: newer hotel, so rooms and lobby were very nice and clean. ||Cons: A family and the front desk person tried to get into our room at 10pm at night. Luckily, I had the extra lock on, but definitely startled us from our sleep (had to be up early the next day). The older front desk lady was very rude to the kids in our group. Breakfast could have been better.
