Our room was on the second floor and it STINKS. It smells like mildew and spray cheese. The carpet in the hallways looks dirty (probably where the smell is coming from). When I went to turn the water on to take a shower there were body hairs on the walls and floor🤢. I washed them down before getting in. There were also the same hairs on the sink. The lights on our nightstands only charge our phones if the light is on. We didn’t sleep because there was what sounded like a large group of people across the hallway in another room being loud past midnight and running up and down the halls with what sounded like flip flops until almost 3:00am. We aren’t people to typically complain but it was honestly ridiculous as the walls here are not sound proof at all. When we went to call the front desk the phone didn’t work! We were too tired to make an effort to go downstairs or across the hallway to talk to the other guests so we just turned the TV on to drown out all the noise. The breakfast was good specifically the biscuits and gravy. We would not recommend coming here. Spend the extra money to go somewhere nicer

I prepaid online for one room but arrived late at night around 11:00pm. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that they had no room and because I arrived late, they gave my room to others. I’m mad because they didn’t contact me for late check in and directly gave my booked room to others. They refunded my room payment but how can I find another hotel at midnight around this place? It’s a miserable experience. I went to another two hotels around and found they’re all full or charged me a strange high walk in price. My only suggestion is if you’re planning to cancel and refund my prepaid booking because of my late check-in. please contacted me first and confirmed that I’m not going to use this room. Otherwise, what’s the point of doing prepaid booking?!?

New rennovation is really nice! Coming here for years, and this is the best it has ever been. And the breakfast was the best done I have seen in 21 years coming to HI Express'. Their morning breakfast guy did a great job. Well done and we will be back soon. Plus the Tesla Super Charger behind Sonny's BBQ less than mile away was fastest I have ever used. Perfect set up going to Keys!

Great location to stop at before heading to the Keys. This isn’t a 5 star resort, nor does it market itself as such. The rooms are older, and the hallway carpet could use a good deep clean. However, the rooms are decently clean, and there’s free breakfast (oven was indeed working when we went). The young man who checked us in was polite and efficient. A decent stay - you’re getting what you pay for.

Upon checking in, the room & bathroom looked clean. After showering, we wiped the floor with the bath towel and realized that the floor was very dirty. We stayed two days and were not offered room service. There were renovations going on in the hotel and the pool was closed because it was not in the proper order. The gym had one exercise bike and one treadmill, and some weights & mats. After using the equipment, we went to wipe it down, and the sanatizing wipes were dry. We asked the front desk and they had a lady come in with a wet washcloth and wipe down the exercise bike. The elevator worked the first couple of times we used it, but then when the doors closed, it would not move. We were able to get the doors open and exit the elevator, but after that, the doors would not open. It was repaired pretty quickly. The breakfast was tasty and the host for the breakfast was excellent! He was the best part of the stay. He was very attentive in helping the guests and had a great attitude!

My experience was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and bacon. The dining area was clean and well-maintained. The hotel also had a nice pool and fitness center that I enjoyed using during my stay.

Excellent location comfortable bed with all the amenities you need.|The staff were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Add to this a good breakfast selection included in the price and you have the perfect package. |I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again when we return to the area.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We like everybody else wanted to stay outside of the keys to save on hotels and we usually like Holiday Inn’s but this was an absolute nightmare. We checked in at around 8 o’clock at night and there were sketchy people hanging out in front of and inside the main doors of the lobby just staring at me and my spouse. We get checked into our room and it smells absolutely terrible and the bathroom was disgusting. I found a dead bug on one of the beds. We began searching around and found a live flee in the bathroom sink and dead flees all over the room along the walls. We checked out at 11 PM and drove one city over to stay in a more reputable hotel. We asked for a refund and it was denied. That’s fine we won’t ever stay here again and will forward our pictures of all the dead and live bugs to the health department.
