Holiday Inn Express & Suites Farmville, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Farmville - 404 Sunchase Blvd, USA

My husband and I spent two nights at this property in January. While I participated in meetings for an organization to which I belong, he enjoyed the outdoor amenities of Farmville, namely the High Bridge park. I was equally pleased with my experience. Our meeting space was excellent as were the audio-visual facilities. We both were happy with our spacious room which included a microwave, a spacious refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, and a large television. Two things, however, made the greatest impression on me: the cleanliness, which was exceptional, and the daily housekeeping service which you just don't get all that often in hotels anymore. We appreciated the desk and comfortable desk chair, and it was SO nice to have another side chair and table. Once we were back in the room for the night, it was so nice that we could both sit in a chair (and not on the bed) for a couple of hours with a book and a drink. Very comfortable all around! One last comment: the location is fine although not within walking distance to stores, restaurants, etc. but Farmville is small so everything was just a short drive away.

The room was a haven of comfort, boasting a plush bed that provided a restful night’s sleep. The attention to detail in the room’s design and amenities enhanced the overall ambiance. Impeccable cleanliness and a sense of modern luxury added to the allure. The hotel’s central location made exploring the city convenient. I cannot commend the staff enough for their professionalism and the hotel for creating an environment that exceeded my expectations. This stay was nothing short of superb, and I look forward to returning in the future.

This venue was excellent from the beginning to the end of my stay. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a friendly desk clerk, and he found a room to let me check in earlier than the 3:00 PM time. The hotel staff was very accommodating when I asked for extra towels. The venue was clean and well maintained. Our meeting room was spacious and had televisions in the front and back to make the presentation easier for all to view. The morning breakfast selections were fantastic, and the lady who was in charge constantly replenished the food and asked if there was anything we needed. She was very personable and helped to clear the dishes as people finished.

Hotel was priced nice. It was very quiet and convenient. The front staff was super firefly and gave the layout of the hotel and all amenities. The hotel was full bit quiet. Once I got to resting time I slept like a baby. The breakfast was great as well.

Lots of space in the rooms. Staff pleasant. Hotel was clean and neat Deborah the hostess was useful in directions and friendly. I wish other hostesses at other locations were as welcoming and spoke to visitors. Will stay here next time we need it in Farmville.

For the most part, I had a great experience at this hotel. The size and decor of the room was nice, it was clean, and the customer service of the staff was great. If you’re visiting the town of Farmville, VA and you like comfort, cleanliness and friendly people, this is the hotel for you.

I had the opportunity to rent and decorate the ballroom at this establishment for a babyshower and was highly disappointed. It was said that during the time of rental, it would be cleaned and ready for me upon my arrival and that I had the use of this room for a day (24 hours). And if I did not clean up, I would be charged extra. When I got there at 10:15a.m. the room was filthy. Which let's me know that no one checked the cleanness of after the party the day before (so I wonder if they were charged the same, if no one knew.) I had to wait additional time for housekeeping to come and pickup balloons, games, vacuum and clean windows. After I finished with my party, we thoroughly vacuumed and left the room as instructed. I was told by the front desk to reach out to the sales manager for a partial refund or the general manager. Each day, with several attempts of reaching out to each person I have not heard from either person. This is bad management as well as bad for business. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed.

Indoor pool was not heated water was ICE cold. Stayed here because my 3 year old granddaughter wanted to go swimming. Very upsetting for her. Breakfast was good, room was very nice. It was very conveniently located to downtown.
