Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dothan North, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Dothan - 4090 Ross Clark Cir, USA

I'm leaving only the three stars because I stayed here on more than one occasion. The second time I stayed for over a month, while the front desk and all of the housekeepers were really friendly I still had some issues. A pair of shorts of mine came up missing and I have no proof that a maid went in my room and stole them but things just don't disappear into thin Air so there's that!! Also my husband's co-worker had to change rooms because there were fleas and bugs in his room, we were in room 228 and he was just down the hall from us I don't know if the entire second floor is infested or the whole hotel is but it needs to be treated... I have reason to believe that I got lice from staying at that hotel and I don't have to tell anyone how disgusting and unacceptable it is to pay money to stay at a hotel that has fleas and lice and God knows what else!!! If you're going to make a hotel pet friendly you better do whatever you have to do to make sure there's no fleas or bugs of any kind and if you can't handle that then don't allow people to bring their damn pets. If I'm ever back in that little town again I won't be staying at this hotel!!

We had to evacuate for one day from our St George Island vacation and checked in on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was very nice as well. There are lots of things to do in Dothan and the hotel is easy to access. Thank you for taking us in. 😊

We stayed here between July 4th and July 9th. The entire time we were here the property was severely understaffed. I had to routinely ask the front desk for towels and despite repeated requests the rooms were not serviced. I ended up cleaning the garbage in the room myself as well as cleaning the bathroom. When I checked out, I requested the bill to be emailed to me. After having not received it, I contacted the hotel as well as customer service multiple times to recover the bill. Finally the worst part was a week after, I was charged for 5 days extra. I have reached out to the property and to customer service several times but have never been able to revive any help in refunding the excess charge. At this point I have disputed the charge with my credit card but unsure how it’s going to turn out. My advice is to avoid this property if you can. If you have to stay here make sure you get your bill before you leave.

They were understaffed when we arrived. However, the Front Desk person tried to take care of all our needs. We saw her care for the needs of a large group of baseball players and trying to meet the needs of others in the hotel. She had great customer service during a tough check-in. The room was stuffy when we entered, but once the AC was running, it was fine.

I stayed here for one night on March 21. A month later I was billed for 2 more nights April 22-24. I did not stay or book any reservations for those dates. I called the desk to inquire about this. The employee stated that her manager would need to look into and she took my number. I called back the next day and still no manager. After the third day with no return call, I decided to file a fraud report with my card. I don't know if this was a computer glitch, a rogue employee, or what. But I would not trust this place. Hello Hilton from now on.

Used to be platinum elite working on diamond then changed to Marriot for my stays - now I remember why. IHG website says this hotel has daily service. My room has not received a full service in the eight days I have been here. >50% of the time you take out your own trash. Towels have been replaced once. Bed made once. Was planning on staying long term. Looking for other options. HVAC in room is only somewhat functional. Breakfast staff is nice. Hoping the service levels improve.

We came to Dothan for a concert. Upon arrival on Mother’s Day, we were greeted with the biggest smile and welcome from Sylvia, a Mom herself. I had a small issue with my room and she was quick to put us in a new room with the same smile she had when we walked in. It’s rare you to receive this kind of service these days and I thank her for making our stay fantastic!

This was the worst HI Express we have ever stayed in! I would give it no stars if I could. The public restrooms on main floor were problems; the woman's had no soap and the men's had no paper towels. Our room had bathroom issues: one-half of sink mirror light was burnt out and shower doors almost immovable. We checked in at 3:00 pm on 5/19 and given our room. Then at 8;00 pm people were knocking at our door claiming they had our room. I called front desk, the lady was quite confused and started to tell me you are people who just checked into room and need to move. I told her that was incorrect and we are not moving. Then to top all of this off, we go downstairs for breakfast in morning and there is hardly any food! No english muffins, no bagels, only 2 pieces of bread, no cereal, no milk, no oatmeal, limited fruit, no plastic knives and no to-go lids for coffee cuos! We asked the employee in food area and she food truck was late! Why even advertise free breakfast with room. ||I will never stay at this hotel again and recommend others do not as well.
