Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dalton, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (504)
This was a great hotel! Check-in was seamless, the room was SO clean. The shower was beautifully appointed. The rooms were well thought out with spaces for luggage. The pony wall in the bathroom as great! Breakfast was just okay. Nothing special. Staff was kind.
We recently did a driving trip from Florida to Missouri and back. We used hotels 5 nights. All but this one were gravely disappointing. With the trend for most big hotel chains to franchise out their locations, hotels just aren't what they used to be. What a relief it was to check into this Holiday in in Dalton, GA. The front desk staff was friendly and the facility was nicely designed and maintained. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable I had to force myself to get up in the morning. The breakfast area was immaculate and the attendant was constantly working and very nice. If I had any breakfast complaint it would be that I would have liked to have some gravy available for the nice biscuts, but there were plenty of other delicious options. This location is owned by Blue Star Hospitality. I don't have any firsthand knowledge of their other properties, but I have googled them and will certainly try their other hotels in the future.
Have stayed at other Dalton hotels and have been pleased. Not so much with this. We paid more than we would normally because of buffet breakfast and being newer. That said, the decor and ambience were great! And the beds were comfy. Love the modern look and feel. However the room was stuffy - could not get the fan to stay on. The breakfast was not what we would've liked. Hard muffins, hard cinnamon rolls, hard omelets - like heated too high in microwave. We felt it wasn't worth what we paid for it, almost $200.
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Had a mobile queen accessible room. Did not get one with roll in shower- not sure if they have any. Room was still functional. Room had a musty smell when we went in. Air was set on 70 but room was warm and sticky. Room clean and good room amenities. Close to interstate but noise was not a problem. Polite room staff. Excellent breakfast! Lady tending breakfast kept items well stocked and very polite. Would recommend staying there if in area. Cracker Barrel and Outback stones throw away. Recommend making reservation as they sold out fast.
After traveling over 330 miles through thunderstorms along with high winds, congested traffic, multiple delays, and near misses, it was good to see the IHG sign heading toward Atlanta. After a brief check-in, I walked into a manicured room that was inducing yet inviting. The decorum seemed to lift my spirits on a dismal stormy night. As the rain continued to fall, it was comforting to enjoy a relaxed late evening in a very posh bed. The smell of breakfast ranged through the hallways as I made my way downstairs. Breakfast included all the amenities one could ask for…all in all…a perfect stay.10/10
Very nice hotel to look at and is very central for a variety of restaurants to eat at. It’s almost like brand new! The rooms (we were in 403) are clean the beds are comfortable as in previous Holiday Inn Express and Suites … but… ||1. There are no safes in the rooms so be prepared to carry valuables about with you!||2. There are showers over the bath… BUT… NO BATH PLUGS so having a bath is not an option and we don’t understand why they fitted a shower over a bath instead of a shower unit!!!||3. There is an ice machine …but… it’s not plumbed in you have to go all the way down to reception if you want ice!||We were told at check in breakfast started at 6am which suited us fine as we had an early start, but much like the workmen/engineers who were booked in we were all disappointed to learn that breakfast didn’t actually begin until 6.30am so not really a bed and breakfast hotel if you’re hitting the road early!||All in all it’s a nice clean hotel but lots of issues needing fixed- as we Glaswegians would say “it’s all fur coat and no knickers”
Only stopped over on our way back from FL to Canada, staff was welcoming and friendly, all areas of hotel were visibly clean. Price was reasonable for my family of 5. Have saved this location so we know where to stop next year on our trip.
Addie at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Room was nice & clean. Love the way they have the soap, shampoo & conditioner. Breakfast was awesome with a huge variety and the young lady working it was working hard to keep everything filled and was very nice.. I have no complaints for our stay 👍

Wonderful small brewery tucked away in downtown Dalton. They offer flights of FIVE beers rather than the typical four, so we had a chance to sample most of their offerings, which is surprisingly large selection. We found them all quite tasty, but esp
Coffee shop in a church, which isn't a thing for me but may be a problem for you. Yes, you can be a heathen and get your coffee here and even use the internet for an hour or two. On a weekday morning, it was quiet and I had no trouble finding parking
I came in for an earl grey tea latte and some baked goods. The drink and food were excellent. I was also impressed with the service. The woman who runs this cafe is warm-hearted and kind. I would definitely go back here for another visit.
I am so happy that I found this Turkish restaurant in Dalton . I have lived in Turkey for 10 years . When I go to this restaurant all memories came to my mind ( baklava , Turkish music, kebab ⦠) . The food is amazing . We ordered hummus and chicke
My family of 4 went here around 5:30 on a Sunday evening. We were immediately seated. The waitress and, I assume, the owner were very friendly and attentive. The dining area and restroom seemed clean. Some plates were brought to us by the waitress,
Went MTB, as 1st timer. Took two kids. Stayed off the extreme trails, but the rest were well-maintained and easy to navigate. Maps were clear and trails marked. Loved it!
Me, my husband, and my son couldn't be thankful enough to have found this place! We drive OTR and trying to make it home in time for thanksgiving with the family. We weren't showing to get home till about 10 tonight so we figured we might as well fi
Stopped in to try for the first time. Early dinner on a weekday. No wait for a table. Lots to choose from. I ordered the fried shrimp, my wife ordered the shrimp po boy. Both came out relatively quickly and were fresh and hot. No issues, will return
