Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas NE - Allen, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Allen - 205 N Central Expy, USA

Very clean, very comfortable, good sized rooms with well appointed furnishings. Hot breakfast, comfortable beds, clean spot free linens and even passed our black light test. We were happy to find washers and dryers on the floor to wash uniforms. Plenty of hot water, free wifi and perfect location for our softball tournament. Double bonus there was an "On the Border" restaurant in the parking lot for a quick drink, light snack and/or evening meal. Gaby at the front desk was professional and welcoming and accommodating. I literally do not have a single thing to mention that they could improve on. It was a perfect stay.

Good location, friendly staff, but beware of room 225 because it’s got LOTS of mold ON the bed and nightstand. The room smelled like mold when we walked in, and I quickly found the source. The front desk person was swift at getting a new room, but never even asked where the mold was or about it at all…we were moved into a much better room with no smell or issues.

This is a great hotel! I do not know why it’s only ranked 7th out of 10 hotels in Allen. It’s impeccably maintained, the rooms are huge, it’s clean, and they have free breakfast. I had a hot cinnamon roll with coffee, tea, and juice this morning. The ladies at the front desk last night and this morning were both friendly and helpful. Great price, great location, great value!

It was very near our location, so that was convenient. However, the TV went out around 8:30pm. The untrained front desk staff offered us compensation or a room change. We had already worked 9 hours so compensation was great. However, the front desk manager told us that wasn't an option and that we should have selected a room change. This wasn't great service. By the way, the lady below was right don't stay in room 208.

Spent more for a suite with jetted tub, but the hot water didn’t work on it. Came in to a dirty shower with previous guests’ hair in it plus a used foot towel tossed on the floor. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and was already cleared by 7:00 with most items not intended for restock. Overall not worth the money spent. Will NOT return.

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful Negative: Room tv did not work. Had a label stating to point remote at tv. Tried and tried. No tv. Also the shower curtains need to be weighted since it¿s a curbless shower the water from shower would push curtain out allowing water to go everywhere in bathroom. Negative: ""

One of my favorite places to stay while traveling is Holiday Inn Express because of the breakfast that includes cinnamon rolls. This location did not have cinnamon rolls; instead offered French Toast. Won't be staying at this location again.

Positive: The staff were very nice. The room is very good. Negative: One of the AC unties is very noisy. We had to turn it off and survive with another AC in the room. It worked out well because we are not in the summer time yet. Negative: ""
