I really enjoyed my stay. I wanted to use the heated pool but didn't have time, however I did go see it and it looked very inviting and pleasant. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious. I had a wonderful time and plan to return for future trips!
This is a mixed review as the room itself was good, but its location and noise level was terrible. The service was 50/50. The food also was 50/50. I’ll go by category.
To preface, we were given the 1st floor and arrived around 10:30pm.
Service: When we first arrived, we waited at the front desk to check in. The front desk worker came out of the back room and didn’t say anything but looked at us and we said reservation for “X”. She looked at the ID and the screen and asked in a rude tone “Are you sure it’s for this hotel?” We said yes. We showed the confirmation email and she went “Ohhhh you’re online check in.” We felt that it was unnecessary in terms of jumping to asking us if we were in the wrong spot. But for the following morning, the lady at breakfast was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.
Food: It was standard. Okay food but it is free so that’s nice. The biscuits were great and the bacon was crispy (good thing for me).
Room: Great room, but first floor was so loud. We were woken up at least by 5am by what we assumed to be employees yelling and shouting in the dining room down the hall. While yes we were on the first floor, we didn’t pick that room and we felt that it should be quiet, especially if it’s the employees that were causing the noise.
Conclusion: Not a bad hotel, just don’t stay on the first floor if you can.
The stay was nice for my family of five. The heated inside pool was perfect for the winter. I would suggest a little more ventilation so it's not so stuffy in there. The only other suggestion would be to make sure that you have enough food ordered before the holidays. There was no breakfast food for four days.
After driving 10 hours, it was a really great hotel expereince. We were greeted and when my wife told the clerk our last name and we had a reservation, we were immediately "Thanked" for being Reward Members. Our room was on the 1st floor and it was very beautiful and clean. Just wished IHG would get rid of the bathtubs and get walk-in showers. Safer for "Senior" travlers. We had a King Bed Suite and could not believe there were 2 TV's in the room. I wish I could have stayed up to watch tv. Not feeling well and took a shower and went right to bed. Had a fantastic sleep. Breakfask was 6:30 - 9:30 am and lots of great options. Love the Cinn. Rolls! Thank you for the best stay after 2 1/2 weeks of being on vacation and back home in Florida. We still had a 5 hour drive home but the Florida Staff at this hotel was the only one that recognized us a card members and Welcomed us upon check-in. Thank you.
I have stayed at this location several times. It' my go to. It has a heated pool and my grandkids can swim in Nov & Dec. The staff has always been very nice and helpful. I typically do the King Suite because I have the grandbabies. It's enough space in the room. The guest bathroom toilet is super low for me; but just right for those little guys.
I review this hotel as a great place to stay close to I10 and convenient to Military Base! The overall experience was good. The grounds and rooms are maintained well and the staff is above standard all the way! I would definitely recommend!
Positive: Whenever I go into a Holiday Inn Express, some of them are cleaner and better kept up than others. This one looked very clean, very new. And it's exactly what I expected. My Compliments to the young lady that was keeping the breakfast bar full and clean Negative: Nothing
Older hotel, not well maintained. Ants in the bathroom. Bathroom door at the bottom is water damaged and warped so it won’t even open all the way. Patched tub damage. Hotel has thin walls. I could clearly hear the neighbors talking through the bathroom vents and someone snoring in another room. I can also hear the traffic from I-10 even though it’s a block away.

Lovely hotel, and a great breakfast! We stopped on our way back from Disney, but I would be happy to go and stay there for a vacation. The bathroom was HUGE, with so much counter space and a lovely bathtub. 5 stars, I was very happy.

The Shrimp Po-boy is good but hold the bottom of it so your shrimp and the rest of it doesn't fall out. The onion rings are also great. She has the Square app so you can pay with debit card if you want, too.
